But if I’m being honest my niche is dog/animal and it’s hard to stay relevant in TikTok when you have serious competition with other creators. So I’ll keep pushing through and maybe it’ll get better but with 2M followers, you start wonder if my videos are even being pushed to anyone these days. Everyone needs to file a complaint with the CA Attorney general to get them to do something about TikTok’s fraud practices of purposely banning people to keep from having to pay them and also file a complaint with the BBB.
My videos were getting 100K+ views per video, then decreased to barely over 5,000 views RIGHT after joining the fund. Plus, I’m literally making pennies a day. So I’m leaving the fund. I’d rather build a community of people, rather than getting pennies.
Yeah, that’s the sentiment of a lot of creators. I think TikTok has a lot of wrinkles to iron out over the next few months with the creator fund, so if you noticed that correlation between joining any serious views decreased, it’s probably a good plan of action to just take a leave of absence.

I’ll be holding out hope... I’ve got over 300k followers and my videos averaged 50-500k views, of course with some in the millions, and now I get less than 10k views, my best since joining the fund was only 30k views, from the series that usually gets me over 300k minimum. I’m less concerned about the money right now and more about the fact that my awful reach will impact my opportunities for paid promos or off tiktok attention (I was featured on buzzfeed and GMA because my videos were viral, and now they are far from it). Hopefully in couple months it will all fix itself 😞
People keep saying the more you use the app the leas views you get and they want you to be on the app so when you don’t use it for awhile that gets you more views to bring you back to the app that has happened for me before

TikTok globally has stated that it's intent is to have no impact on video performance for those that join the Creator Fund. However, I find that the content does matter significantly because you (the creator) will be paid based on how well you abide by original content and what TikTok's willing to monetize (unfortunately it's not everything). In answer to your question, I would stick in the Fund for at least 2 weeks and see where that takes you. Worst-case scenario, you leave (which is very easy to do - and you can join back up at any time) and most likley recover your previous views. Hope that helps!

This is great! I have an interesting situation. I joined the Creator fund, saw a massive crash in views so after about 2 weeks or so I left. Once I left, my views actually went down more, I was shadow banned and don't show up on hashtags. This has been about two weeks now that I noticed the ban and nothings changed. Since the creator fund I have lost about 5000 followers. Thoughts? Should I create a new account altogether (Im around 171K currently - willsbeenhere).

@@katerinapetrova3389 This is my advice. First create an original content that’s inline with your interest or must be relatable to others. If you don’t know what original content to post, try doing a trending video and change it a little bit. I haven’t been lucky on trends but I always have good views on original contents. I make facts video, POV and comparison. I only post once a day coz I don’t think too much about it.
Also, you should be more confident and the background matters a lot.
