New Headlights on my Land Cruiser - watch before you install Amazon headlights

- I'm installing these new Amazon Headlights on my Land Cruiser because one of the originals is broken. However, I found a serious wiring issue in the headlights out of the box. So I show how to fix that as well as install them on the vehicle.

Thank you. You just solved my problem. I spent the whole afternoon today trying to install the same lights on my cruiser. I had the same problems I knew I had a short some place and I saw the wires on the connectors I knew something was not right. I will fix it tomorrow. Your experience will save me a lot of time of trouble shooting. Thank you.

Huge thank you to you sir, i didnt have to struggle thanks to you. i got done installing my headlights and popped the fuses and called it a night because i didnt know why now this morning everything works great. good thing i procrastinated installing them for a couple years lol

I went with the Denso glass replacements with Halogen bulbs, they look great but aren't as bright as I would like. Added a light bar that I'm very happy with.

Hi Mike, I’m not sure if I’m sponsored yet. As for the wiring, I googled something that clued me in and then traced the wiring on the headlights to figure out one bulb was reverse from the other.

Are those center lights supposed to be DRL's, maybe?
Great video just checking to see how lights are holding up…any issues moisture etc or is all good
I've been using them for 1.5 years now. They work good. No moisture. Bulbs are good. The only problem I've had is that my cheesy wire splices don't always stay connected, so the middle bulb winks out. My problem, not the headlights. I would suggest using good waterproof spices.
Does anyone know if its possible to switch from those headlights to a LED twin headlights?
How do they illuminate compared with the original ones? Are better than the original ones?
They definitely light up brighter than my original headlights. Sometimes when I'm driving with the "normal" beams on I get flashed by other drivers who think my brights are on.
I agree. These lights work so much better and splicing the third light in to parking lights allows them to be used as DRLs as mentioned by another viewer. These lights work great…I did run into fit up issue with side parking lights that interface. They didn’t seat all towards rear leaving a small gap…so any ideas on that are appreciated. The performance outweighs this issue …
