Mine is a different case. A bit different. Anonymous people are joining the class when the teacher is teaching and creating nuisance. What we know is that they join without asking any permission. So they maybe the school students or some others using the dupe glitch. my question: 1. Is it the school students or some one else. if it is the school student joining with different names how to find out who he is. 2. Can we give them perma ban or reset his access? Hope I can solve this and help my teachers and friends.
Happy to help Swaraag- yes, most likely students are joining your Google Meet because the teacher has not reset the Google meet link in google classroom. We discovered that students would bookmark the meet and re join. You can also check out another TH-cam video I made on preventing students from joining with audio, that seems to be an issue as well. To find out who is joining your Google admin can use the Google meat quality tool Within the Google Admin Console. Lastly you can be in the student by removing them from the meet, and the next time they try to enter, the teacher will be notified whether they can enter or not. It also makes a difference whether you’re using Google meet within google classroom to host your Google meets, there is added security in there that prevents exactly what you’re talking about. I started a call on my laptop but then I left. It then said I was still on a call like the green bar in the chat, Later on it said the call ended 30 mins ago but I left the video call a long time before that. Can that other person still hear what im doing?
You could ask your Google admin to check their Meet Quality Tool in their Google Admin Console, this will let you know if your device was still logged into the meeting or not.
