That color looks great on it. Matching headstock is nice as well. I really like the looks of this kit especially for the price. Perfect for people starting out with kits or thinking about building their own guitar. Would recommend it. Seems yours wasn’t free of some redrilling too. Part of the game I guess.

Oh yes I love the colour something a bit different.

I bought this same kit, I was lucky mine aligned perfectly, didn't have to redrill any holes or anything. I reshaped the headstock and ended up putting new tuners on because I snapped one by over tightening it. I didn't even paint mine just left it as is, the kit ain't bad for the price however I have noticed the neck pick up is so much louder than the bridge.
    Yours came out lovely.

Something about a Jazzmaster or a Jag with a bound neck & block inlays, I’ve seen a guy on here with a normal HB J style guitar and he had the Les trem on it, think I’d like to try that and do it all on a budget, dunno if I can get a cheap one from China because as it stands the Les trem is more expensive than the guitar kit lol

Although I am not a fan of the small pots, and I would of went for a darker purple myself, it looks and sounds pretty good. I keep telling myself I am going to figure out how to connect my Mustang Micro amp to my computer when I am playing, so I can just download a program that will allow me to set up loops and such. I just keep not doing it, procrastination seems to be my default when it comes to doing things like that for myself.. When it comes to Kit guitars like this one, what matters the most is that the person who ends up with the guitar likes or loves it. It seems like you like the guitar in the video, but I wouldn't be shocked if you changed out some of its parts for ones that fit your needs.. Providing you keep it and don't give it away to a friend or sell it or something.
Although I haven't really dug into it much, I know the Mustang Micro can be connected to my computer, outside of just charging it as I already charge it that way. I just haven't dug into it to find the software that I am going to need to have a looper and such.. Though its likely Fender makes software for just such a thing, and its also likely there is far better software out there for just such a thing. I don't know if you use actual pedals yourself or if you are just using your computer to simulate pedals, but I know both can be done. ... Sorry, when it comes to connecting amps to my computer, I have 0 experience with it.. I only got my hands on the Mustang Micro because it was about a hundred American Dollars or so, and it had some pretty positive reviews... I like the idea of headphone amps, as I don't have a sound proof room to practice in at home lol. ..
Thanks for the responses, I hope all is well Meat, good luck and good day :)

I love both the guitar and the Sega shirt you got on! BTW, have you seen the Harley Benton Mosrite guitars? I love that guitar shape but real Mosrites are not cheap. It's a nice budget friendly alternate.

I regularly Gig mine i love it, I fitted better tuners and set it up how i like it but joking aside I have USA strats and teles sitting in their case and only come out for the odd Gig these days, I put my kit togetherabout a year ago and have now put a set of mini humbuckers in it and 500K pots and its transformed it again they are a great modding platform and after a fret dress and polish play so well, the original pickups sound great as long as you wax dip them as they can squeal when you start cranking them hence the mini hummers route. th-cam.com/video/hrb8pYN17lo/w-d-xo.html This is pre the upgrades with original pickups(dipped).
