I've just got this bass pedal today and it has blown me away, but I am really impressed with the Boss SYB-5 which I've just ordered from Japan.
Awesome video. 😎🤘🏻🎸this synth pedal sounds phenomenal. I personally like the laser and oblivion sounds. I was thinking about getting one.

@@deadbeatstudios yeah it’s a fun pedal to experiment with. My other choice would of been a source audio c4, but truthfully the ehx bass mono synth impresses me more. It has an impressive selection of synth sounds for bass.

That Warwick is almost perfect. Not keen on the inlays but that body... wow!
I use one for Punk/ Goth.
You can get some pretty eerie settings.
Do you need to connect both outputs in order to get both dry and synth sound?
nice 👌 Anybody knows how to get the that Oblivion tone alternatively? That’s the only tone I would need so i’m thinking not to buy pedal for only one tone haha 😂 But all those settings sounds cool!
How does this compare to the Source Audio C4? Looks like it's more limited in its sounds
@3:45 I'm also a big fan of doing things you aren't supposed to! With that said, do you think this pedal would track the suboctave coming from a BOSS OC5 in "lowest range" mode? That way it'd only receive a single sub root-note, even as you play chords. I currently run the OC5 into the SYB-5 Bass Synth this way, but I wanted a few more synthy flavours. Thanks for the great examples; you really understand your craft!

I ordered this pedal and cannot wait to try it out. I also recently bought a zoom B2four. What do you think would be the best placement for this pedal, before or after the zoom. I probably won’t run through the effects loop on my amp, just straight into my amp. Kinda new to the effects thing!

Since you're just loaning this pedal, I'm curious to know which synth pedal/gear you actually use personally.
Is there any latency of the synth sound from the pedal?
i think you'll have to check the manual or the technical specs to find out what the round-trip latency is
In the first example you can hear how it is a tad behind the dry bass
the last time I was in a band, I really loved playing synth bass stuff, but I was trying to use a Line6 Bass Pod XT and its synth bass sounds were great and the tracking was completely useless. Every note was warararrarrrarblblbee no matter what you did.
I slap this into gt1000 to layer more modulation pitch shift and reverb after it
This is a great sounding synth pedal.However tracking can be a problem.Too bad as i have owned or tried most bass synth pedals out there and I love the sound this produces.

ideal if you're a strange person who wants to play in a synthwave band, and you're a bassist, and you can't play keyboards. Problem solved, your bass is now a synth.

I‘m a pedal collector and have hundreds of them. But I couldn‘t get rid of this thing fast enough. As a big EHX fan I had high hopes but couldn’t get any good sound out of it. What a disappointment. I really don’t get how you can make it sound so great
