I think a cool buff for C’Thun to add would be the make the Pieces cost 4 mana each, so that it’s not a steeply cost to run when cards like Fire Sale and Assassinate already exist fine at 4.
Yeah, that's probably the more impactful change. C'thun itself could be 0 mana and it would still be unplayable at the moment, because you have to play all the parts which is a pretty awful waste of a turn, and then it doesn't even add the completed c'thun to your hand, it just shuffles it into your deck. I have kept trying to add it to even warrior as maybe the only deck slow enough to make it work, and I can't even get to a point of playing c'thun, as I've either killed the opponent, or the opponent has killed me. And it doesn't even kill vs renathal decks. I cannot understate how awful this card is in wild. That said, I will probably continue at least desperately trying to find some way to make it work.
Just wanna say love the videos and as someone who quit early HS and just started playing again during showdown in the badlands this series in a ways catchs me up with all I missed.
I really enjoy Renathal, he’s allowed Control / Slower decks to have their own place in the game, and is a huge component towards making them more viable. He’s improved the game for the better imo.
My favorite card from this expansion, given recent experience, N’zoth, God of the Deep, I’ve had a fun time with Menagerie Warrior, and N’zoth is my 2nd favorite old god. So him supporting a style I like could be very intriguing if I had him.
My favorite card right now is Doctor Holli'dae, she isn't that strong but her voice acting and the frogs are just very charming A curse of frogs upon ye are truly a blessing
I’m really looking forward to the tourist mechanic, so as far as favorite cards go, maybe I’ll find a new one in the upcoming expansion. For now though, Prince Renathal is one of my favorites.
I'm partial to Cascading Disaster, and I think buffing it to 3 mana would be a great improvement for removal for slower Warlock decks. Combine that with Y'shaarj, the Corruptor going to 8 mana, and you might just have something going...
Teron gorefiend is my favorite card because I had a priest deathrattle deck that put my board into teron and then copied him. Had grave rune and mind flyer karjj as backup targets too
Maxima Blastenheimer would be just a super charged version of Dinotamer Bran I don’t think Mage should get an unconditional 2 mana 4/4 that adds two cards to your hand.
honestly, c'thun the shatered could just win you the game in the spot the way the meta is right now. You got to play 4 cards that cost 5 and get to turn 10+? You deserve that win. It also used to be my favorite card in my meme spell mage deck, back when apexis blast was considered a strong card.
This expansion was honestly perfect to me, I just got my first ever paycheck and spent it on the bundle, I use the warlock skin all the time! My favorite card of all time is Alarm-o-Bot, I was a literal child and I crafted a hunter deck... got so many wins when I pulled my savannah highmane!
Not gonna lie, that Throw Glaive buff would literally remove aggro from the game tbh, at least ones that can't buff health easily. One of my favorite cards conceptually though and would love to see it played more, especially because of the schwing sound it makes when you play it. Looking back as well it's insane how limited the Menagerie package for warrior that expansion was, and it's incredibly parasitic in retrospect now that there's not really 1 nameable card of each of those types that you would want to run in a non-Warrior goodstuff deck. As for Cthun, I feel like it should also change to dealing the opponent's Max Health split across all enemies, because with the advent of Renathal and DK and Azerite Snake there's no reason for a full game payoff to not be able to instantly kill your opponent from full HP, especially since it has an achievement that wants you to do exactly that and cannot be done if you queue into a Renathal opponent
yeah im gonna be real with you 1 mana deal 2 repeatable doesn't make you suddenly not die to a 3/2 a 2/2 and a 2/1 on turn 1 especially when the class has negative control tools
@@FlareIsGone Idk I feel like attack doesnt matter because if they get that you can always kill 2 next turn (with or without coin) which doesn't win but it severely reduces their race, and after that you get to use all mana with glaive again unless they follow up with a cannon/boar and at that point you can hero power glaive to kill that too albeit not as reliably but it means they can't stick it directly after their turn 1 play, which again doesn't win but regardless it's a lot of value for 1 card's worth of draw. Maybe it's not making the class good as control but hell will it feel like it if they draw one and play it 17000 times.
Wanna make a fun rework to maxima? Make her summon a location that is her cannon, it stores the minion there and you can shoot it when you want.... But then again reno lone ranger exists soo no fun allowed
If you really wanted to make Throw Glaive a control staple you could bump it up to 3 mana (2 if you want it busted) and have the copies be temporary and cost 0. You pay the higher upfront cost to kill all enemy minions with 2 or less health. I think it'd line up with Consecration with the added benefit of being able to clear small summons off of deathrattles. Paying 1 to deal 2 damage to a minion (even repeatedly across turns) feels too mana inefficient, even for DH.
Thought of another idea for grand finale 10 mana, summon an 8/8 for every elemental you summoned this game. It’s so slow it feels okay for the effect it provides, plus by turn 10 there’s a ton of viable board clear, and even with mage mana cheat/ big spell casting there’s counterplay
Hysteria is good at 4 mana and a lot of ppl still run it in reno shadow priest. Dont think it needs a buff Nitroboost Poison is a weird thing with 2 mana harmonic hip hop or 1 mana cold blood? Would 1 mana nitroboost be crazy good? Maybe. But do we need more busted rogue card? I dont think so.
I know it's good in Reno priest, but Reno warlock is unplayable garbage and I think part of it is due to its inability to kill giants in any efficient way
My favorite card is old C’thun, I just loved the idea of half of an expansion being printed in support of one card and I’m very happy he got buffed with the caverns of time even though he still isn’t used much in wild
old kingsbane was definitely a favorite of mine. I love decks centered around a specific card, and a signature weapon that keeps coming back is such a cool deck archetype :0
why do you keep wanting to buff things for odd demonhunter? I get that the deck sucks, that dh in general sucks, and that there shouldn't be this hatred of anything aggro that exists, but that deck created some of the most uninteresting, one dimensional play patterns I've ever seen. Aggro should be strong, the decks should have at least some interesting elements and decision making, odd dh is none of that
@@neonoir__ On the same boat, he's buffing to a playable status, and dh is in such a terrible disadvantage because Blizz is afraid of printing good stuff for the class due to Jace and Il'gynoth trauma
the people recognising inara stormcrash deserves a buff = the world is healing
People actually don't recognise this? Damn
All I remember about this expansion is my opponent playing too many tickatus. Also, my favorite card is Kazakus, Golemshaper
Kazakus golemshaper isn't even from this expansion 😭

Try not to say "genuinely" challenge (impossible)
My favorite card is probably Kingpin Pud. I really like the idea of the ogre gang and find it to be a fun addition to standard highlander decks atm
I loved Deathstalker Rexxar back in Frozen Throne. Getting him from the solo adventure was awesome.

A card I do love a lot is Jotun that I use in my relic dh deck. That deck is probably objectively terrible but I like it
Great video as always! My favorite card is obsidian statue
I wonder would Whatley be too strong at 4 mana
My favorite card is vilespine slayer
My favorite Card ist shudderwock
Bro chill I love the vids but relax
Don’t buff nitroboost poison, please) it will be nightmare again

Maybe we should just remove the elemental tribe… TO MAKE SPACE FOR A TROLL TRIBE INSTEAD??? BRING MY GOAT SEN’JIN SHIELDMASTA TO WILD! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
I’ve always kinda hated Inara for powercreeping Doomhammer, I’d rather remove the overload from Doomhammer than buff her
Think it’d be cool to see a video on 3-6 cards you give Charge to.
I won’t lie I have had nothing but a miserable experience against even and odd Paladin I’m not sure it should be better than it is
Its so strange when you open you`r colection in hs and these cards are still crappy instand of being cool
Cthun the shattered should also do 40 damage and the peices of cthun should be buffed
8 mana N'Zoth will still suck because Reno drops on turn 9 anyway

I think maxima is kinda broken so maybe change it so that the minion dies at the end of turn
