I just came across this vlog today. The way we process copra is we split the coconut with husk and all and dry them under the sun for maybe 2-3 days then take the meat out to be smoked like your tinapa then chop the meat jnto big pieces before they are placed in burlap sack to be sold in Manila

Quezon province is beautiful! My asawa was born in Gumaca, Quezon. Her parents lived in Unisan fand Bonifacio for a long time. My father-inlaw and brothers-inlaw worked selling the copra. I got to visit them and celebrated my birthday there a couple times. My father-inlaw made me my favorite kambing! I was stationed at Clark Air Base a couple of times for several years.
