Hmmm, I would maybe think the Egyptian bracelet would be a good place to start, as it's a pretty simple and quick technique, and you can either make your own clasp like I showed in the tutorial, or you could just make wrapped loops on the ends, like I did in this tutorial and attach a separate clasp 😃
