I saw Mike Kaye do some sick nose manuals before anyone else. That was in Raleigh, NC in about 1991, the same day that I saw John Beyers break his leg on a gnarly dirt jump. I did not even know that nose manuals were possible and he was doing them on walls and medians as long as twenty feet, g-turns too but I had never heard of them either
how the heck do you not flip over the bars when turning going into a g turn. It seems if you are just starting your front wheel would SLIDE OUT FRoM UNDERNEATH YOU.
Chad Shilling I just automatically went there..im seeing lotta kids trying to change their bike geometry but they never practice I wonder why can’t they do those tricks smh.. but anyhow. I think 20 or 22mm is just perfect. I ride 15mm federal assault fork and it only helps with initiating nose tricks and generally more technical tricks. If you ride like Tom dugan or trey jones you wanna stick with your 26. In fact you could try moving up to 32mm. But back to 15.. it’s mad twitchy and balance control is completely off. Especially if it’s new to you.And im fairly certain Caleb runs somewhere around 20mm.
John Reder it’s cool I ride a 2019 kink legend and it’s geometry is amazing and I have 2 other customs, I like my 26 mm offset once I get into my noise Manuel’s it’s easy to stay in, a 32 mm is more for downhill racing and would be to hard to get into a noise ,the less the offset the more simple it is to get into the trick but it becomes more “touchy” so to speak
Chad Shilling exactly. Tho keep in mind that I learned nose manuals on 32mm stock fork. And my record was 10 yards long. But my boys where telling to get way shorter offset and I never understood why. Yet it was best purchase I ever made. Now I slightly move my foot forward and im almost in nose already lmao.
Ya, the sample is cool, but seriously Caleb makes that look effortless. Serious front wheel skills.
I like the tutorials with Caleb Quanbeck. He gives useful advice, in my opinion.
I really wana learn this

*Music is: Vanilla - Getting Over You
cant nose manual but can do solid 180 g turns and sometimes g turn 270s … not sure if that’s good or bad lol
G-turns were called that back in the 80's because the circular rotation was like a G. 270 is like a G.
Song?
Song please :) and good tutorial. Might try it sometime.
best friends become strangers ladii j
thank you.
I like how he explains the whole stuff from step 1 to step 2 Nice :)
Best how to on this trick thanks u!! I always kept all my weight on the front wheel and went over the bars that half cab out tip helped a lot 🦾🔥

Looks so difficult!
Super easy my ass. I'm pretty far from a beginner and i can barely do it, most of the time i only get 270-300 lol. Been riding for years too.

What fork offset do you have?
just fyi..15mm forks wont give you skills. if thats what youre implying
John Reder just curious because I have 26mm and I wasn’t implying anything just asking a simple question

Thats pretty cool
seems like the most impossible thing on my mtb...
essa manobra não é uma manobra básica! é o conjunto de duas, o 180 e o noose manual!...
Damn ur good
I learned G-Turn before 180, hah
Did you learn nose manuals before a g turn?

What happened to this guy?
Boy, how could BMX-bikes become SO ugly....the look of the bikes was probably the main reason we started riding in the mid 80s
Song...???
