U right…yeah I might like the DEFENDER..🤦🏾♂️but I don’t trust the reliability on them …so I just stick with my Toyota or Lexus 😁 I had a couple of GX’s before so i know the reliability & quality of them & look its mighty funny everybody’s been talking about the GX’s rear door opening & isn’t that the same 💩the defender has now 🤦🏾♂️
@@BigAltimaEnergy719 True. Many manufacturers seems to develop cars only for the business lease these days, with a scoop of 4 or 5 years......certainly the case with EV manufacturers. Toyota, lexus, develop cars with a much longer lifespan.....that's why they can give 10 years warranty... for the RZ from Lexus, even 15 years.
I would own a GX and drive it beyond the warrenty period. I might lease a Defender under the right conditions, but it would have to be a short lease period. Driving a dealer loaner kinda sucks.
Happy to see the return of boxy SUV's. I found it very interesting that a bunch of people were complaining about the lack of wood in the GX, but the defender doesn't seem to offer any wood as well, and you ger luxuries such as massaging seats and a cool box in the GX, that is not offered in the defender, but correct me if wrong.
At the rate you are going, I think Cassie needs to do an auto review channel with a focus on hauling families around and how good the vehicles are for that.
If I was taking 1 out to the out back. It wud be the lexus everytime. Defender looks good, but it's gonna break down. The lexus is proven reliability..
As a former owner of a 2011 LR4 HSE ( bought new) for over 11 years….I can honestly say avoid LR products unless you have the discretionary income to afford maintenance. I sold the LR and bought a Toyota 2022 4 Runner limited.
Defender looks amazing, every time I see one, I give it a second or even third look. By comparison the GX550 looks a little more "common". That said, looks only go so far in my book, reliability is more important.
Have you seen the drag race between the LC300 GR Sport and the Defender 110? Twin turbo charged mild hybrid AND electrically supercharged i6 and still got dusted by the good old V35A. The LC300 also has a much better interior and so does the LC250. I also can't wait for the new Patrol. It'll be the real deal.
Kirk…y is it everybody was acting like the rear door on the GX was so hard to deal with..but ain’t that defender now brand new has the same style opening like the GX was ..so I’d rather stick with my GX then 😁
People going on about reliability issues with LR are really going off of outdated information. The Late model Defenders and Range Rovers are EPIC and just dont have all of the previous issues. And those issues were largely with the more "lux" American models. I know several people ( in South FL = LR mecca ) that have all of them ( the new ones ) and there is zero comparison to any Toyota. With exception to the LC200( perfection ). The form and function of these is next level. Sometimes it's also just about having cool things that you like and now how you look. Note* zero Lexus or 4 runners in the Dakar 🤙🏻.
People complaining about reliability ask yourself. Are you really going to own the car for more than 3-4 years? Most people change cars 3 years on average and put about 12k miles So for like 40ish thousand miles you wont exactly run into major issues…. Which is why Land Rover doesn’t care to fix the reliability and still sell A LOT of these cars lol
I mean let’s be real About this everyone’s talking about reliability but let’s face it probably will see more defenders off road than the Lexus model forsure. And let’s not forget the tons of accessories that comes with the defender. To really make it enjoyable out there in the wilderness I’m sorry I’m going Defender all day long. And no matter how much people scream reliability claims about the Land Rover products they still sell. And no one’s really cross shopping a Lexus GX with a defdender maybe a bronco, a jeep, and the land cruise
I simply can never trust the quality and reliability of any Rover vehicle.

Personally, Lexus is the Best Vehicle Overall & Resale Value is Outstanding 😊!
Can’t wait for my GX!!
Have you ordered one or put down a deposit?
I’m looking for a dealer that doesn’t do markups over MSRP
Eh, unreliability makes it kind of irrelevant to us
I always said, the ultimate job in finance is as a Range Rover extended warranty "guy". Talk about a no brainer!
Most lease no?
Every LandRover is beyond unreliable......
No one would buy these, only leasing is the smart thing to do

Why does Land Rover even exist besides the Range Rover and Sport?

Is that a delivery van version of the defender? Idk about those rear side windows. That’s trend setting , you got that right 😂

People complained about the GX interior, but this Defender is in the same ballpark.😂It’s premium but rugged.
Yes but this interior is better. More character, utility, and more physical controls.
@@KirkKreifelsReally? Ok. I really dig it inside and out.
Water Intrusion faults come standard on these
Rovers look and drive great. Enjoy it for 3-4 years. Run away when the warranty ends

Cool box on this defender is the best I've seen.
@@KirkKreifels that’s awesome that they have a cool box on offer. I always thought it was the coolest features in SUV’s as a kid

Lease only.
3:32 except that the spare tire blocks a large portion of the window.
Digital rear view mirror 🪞
That’s a beautiful vehicle.🤩
Looks better than the GX inside and out. Nothing like a Rover. But there are the drawbacks. Imagine a Rover with Toyota reliability.
Ironic that the thumbnail has the hood up...lmao.
Not if you want to come back from the Outback...
Wow it starts
Wow Land Rover is in business

Toyota is tank build for off-road. Toyota indestructible Kaizen roots back to Hilux, Landcruiser, Tacoma.
missing a passenger screen or navigator screen, and the alpine view option
Really love the design
Wow..design wise its really good both exterior and interior..looks simplistic, rugged and beautiful. I will drive this car someday.
Who in the right mind buys a Land rovers now days ?
This car company is so unreliable am surprised this company is still in business….TRASHHH🚮🙌🏻

I love the design on the defender. I always see them when I go to REI lol.
Land Rover's version of a Grand Wagoneer, with similar reliability and depreciation.
😂😂😅
