One good way to practice these checkouts is to play a game called Catch 40. You basically have to checkout from 41 to 100 using up to 6 darts and you get more points for the lesser darts you use. I find it really makes me think about how to check out each number so when you are in a game of 501, you have better recall on what check out to use. Also as it is a points game you can track your progress and see improvement. I think it would be a great game for people to learn and embed the concepts you are teaching in your videos.
