If the Mickey Mouse Universe has a Mary Su anyway. Despite the fact that I think the Ending and Plot Twist was bad FanFic, The Last Adventure only made think that Webby is alright. And before you start harassing me on why OOOOOOOOHHHH Webby is Not a Mary Stu or whatever you made up. I tried to like Webby in The Last Adventure, but unfortunately I only think Webby is Alright in The Last Adventure. As for the Series as a whole, I honestly don’t know what to say about Webby.m Vanderquack McDuck.
@@popescugabriela-livia7072 it’s sad yes, but considering the fact that Disney integrates their more successful Spin Offs of Mickey Mouse (and both Ducktales are Mickey Mouse Spin Offs) you can pretty much ask Disney if they can integrate Ducktales 2017’s Lore to the McDuck Family Mythos.
I feel like the focus should have been on the trio. Duey, Huey, and Luey are the main characters. Them and Scrooge. Webby is definitely the next most important character, followed by Donald.
It does makes sense. He has known Donald since he was child. Yes he knew Della as well but there was a 10 year gab on the moon while Donald reconnected faster with Scrooge than her due to the Triplet. I know he knew Bentina long before that but she was his partner and was for a long time to bussy running her spy agency. Donald is the one constant factor in his life.
The irony scrooge in season one (before the finale) said to webby " this is a family matter and you are NOT family " LOL turns out* she is his daughter.
Why do people have to keep bringing that scene up? You do not know how much that hurts more than ever after that reveal. Now I wonder if Scrooge will actually apologize to Webby after that finale. Maybe he did offscreen, or maybe he did earlier before but I don't know? How can we tell? That is probably the reason why I don't want to be keep being reminded by that scene.
@@theumpireofthebottomlesspit it was sad but because of the way the finale ended their bond is now stronger than before... Edit- I feel the same way as u do buddy ;=;
@@theumpireofthebottomlesspit Unfortunately, that scene was never properly resolved. In fact, the idea of having Webby being made from Scrooge is an even bigger slap in the face because it rubs in the fact that she wouldn't matter to him unless she were "family". That is why the original series is superior to this reboot because at least in the original they made it very clear that Scrooge didn't care Webby wasn't his "blood". She was still extremely precious to him.
Y'all need to learn that people are allowed to make mistakes, and that forgiveness exists. Webby has forgiven Scrooge for this blunder long before now, and Scrooge only lashed out at Webby then because of his excruciating pain at the loss of Della.

But Steelbeak is still out there, running away like a coward. And Negaduck is still out there biding his time. This only means if do get that Darkwing Duck reboot it will integrate those stories
@Orion Jean not sure I hope it’s still in the same universe especially since we can see Negaduck again and maybe we can see Bradford and FOWL again since FOWL was in the original Darkwing Duck series
There is a chance Bulba and/or the fearsome Four could make a comeback. And Tuskerini could be introduced, I don't think it was a coincidence that a walrus was Funso's mascot. I think he's an ally of Bradford to provide cover and resources and possibly launch a contingency plan or one of his own in a more realistic way or he may be in it for the thrill and the profits like any other evil businessman in cartoons. Whatever the case, be on your guard. I can't believe Steelbeck became smart at last. He's become the original version of himself in the original Darkwing Duck, except he's probably his own man, possibly a crime lord in St Canard or secretly taking orders from a new version of FOWL. Again by on our guard.
Let's see if we get a comic book or something that will continue the story. Regardless, a GREAT series! I'm getting emotional about this like your video after the end of Tangled...
In Finland, there was DuckTales comic books but their production ended in 2019 or something... IF YOU BELIEVE I AM A LIAR, II WILL RAGE THROUGH MY HEART AND SOUUUULLL
I wish May and June were introduced much earlier. They would try to gain the Duck family's trust only to betray them later by revealing they're FOWL members. It would also get us to know them a little better.
@@Technogeek6487 Additionally, they sorta already did that arc with Lena and the lead-up to Magica. It might've been a bit too redundant to spend another season building trust, only to lead to betrayal by the before the big finale.
@@TheGoodWitchLuz06 Most likely the only flip on that they could've done is the twins not wanting betray the family but Webby does because she wants answers and they show reluctance despite knowing this is what they have to do. Then you have Webby feeling she threw away her family for nothing and in the case of the twins they not only find out they were rejects but also threw away the one chance at a family they had. What I would've done if I stretched out that arc.
As much as I loved the ending and finding out Webby is Scrooge’s daughter, I really wish we could’ve found out who Huey, Dewey and Louies dad was. It also would’ve been awesome to see another episode to see how Scrooge treats Webby now. Would he have been more protective? Is she in the will(if she wasn’t already)? I just feel sad that the series is over now, but I’m happy the Ducktales team ended the show in a great way❤️🦆
I really enjoyed the finale, i mean sure it had it's ups and downs like all tv show finales do but at least it did things like finally explained Webby's origins and they finally defeated F.O.W.L. and etc...but all in all the series had a good run but i'm gonna miss it so much!!!
I thought I couldn't be surprised by what would happen. But I've been wrong before. That said, I still can't believe I'm in an online university. It was epic and everything I dreamed and wanted. I knew that Webby was made to get the Papyrus. I just didn't know she was made from Scrooge (which was embarrassing because hints were shown throughout the arc) and I thought the Papyrus was the key to chaos destruction, instead of the Circuit (again, embarrassing)
I feel that Donald should have a bigger moment in this ending, I mean, Bradford is pratically the same character as Donald. Both were presentated as kid who were drown to adventure and they didn't like it and at the end they refuse it for different motives, the thing is that we see that at the end, Donald like it, he just was been protective whereas Bradford still hate it. They even recognise Donald as Scrouge most scrooge's most trusted allie, because he is, he was the one who mantained the family togerther taking care of the new generation and then protecting all of then, even in this episode is the one who use the metal piece to block the ray. I don't know, but I feel he deserved a monologe or a ideology fight with Bradford, like been the one who reverses the machine and bring back the adventure to the world
Can we talk about Magica's very scary ability to take away a person's agency when they're turned into an animal? :o I really like how this show includes and even expands just a little bit on the dichotomy between anthropomorphic animal characters like Scrooge, and regular animals, like the ducks Webby was feeding, and then showing us something in between the contrast when we see sentience be given to rodents who went on to become the Rescue Rangers- which I find really interesting! (Especially because Chip and Dale in the old cartoon shorts walked that fine line between being regular animals and anthropomorphic characters themselves to begin with...much to Donald's expense) This is something I've always felt was an elephant in the Disney room, dating back to Steamboat Willie. Even then, we had an anthropomorphic cat, Pete, yell at Mickey, and then in the same short we later see Mickey terrorize a regular cat. But going back to Magica, that's.... Really terrifying. Even in the original show, her brother still had a sense of himself.
A whole lot of characters weren’t use for their fullest potential. It usually happens when the writers or creators want a story to work with and not immediately have the last antagonist defeated too quick.
@@SakuraReverie Yeah I´ve seen that in Tangled The Series too. Before the announcement that the current season is its' last, I was hoping the show would last long enough to lead to an Arrowverse style franchise where the show, Darkwing Duck or any Disney Afternoon reboot crossover once or even twice a season. But for what it's worth, the finale was great. None of the channels I'm subscribed to even talk about this show week to week like every other cartoon. I’m surprised Bradford didn’t realize he was the cause of the space invasion in his efforts to control Scrooge. If Bradford didn’t tell Della about the Spear, Della wouldn’t have been trapped on the moon, and later found by the Moon People. For all his attempts to control chaos, he caused at least one chaotic event on his own.
This is the end of the Purest show that Disney ever created. A series not about adventure, drama o things like that, a series about the relations between the characters, about friendship, family and love. A show with an amazing staff of secondary characters, that make you a smile too many times. Great characters, history, comedy, animation, design and above all, love, too much love for the original ducktales, animation, history of animation, the original disney afternoon shows, their characters, etc. Just a perfect reboot...
Just like the Gravity Falls final. When I saw how people reacted to it on TH-cam people are doing the same thing for the final DuckTales episode. Still I have a feeling Disney will do the Darkwing Duck spin off to pickup where DuckTales left off.
What I love about this series is it’s fresh take on a show that many grew up with. The creative team behind this reboot did justice to it. So many classic Easter eggs that older fans will recognize and creating great tales to attract adventurers of all ages. This has been truly a great ride over the last few years. I’m sad to see it go but like all great things it must come to an end. Maybe someday we’ll see a spin-off of the triplets in their adult years, maybe they find their own adventures to conquer. My heart is full and I’m content with how they wrapped up everything. And as always, I love the fun commentary Issac. You are a truly amazing Disney fan who shows great passion.
THIS CONTAINS DT FINALE SPOILERS: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU COULD HAVE MORE QUESTIONS YOU ALREADY HAVE Hello! I’m so sad that DT has ended, but it’s been a fun ride! Also, is no one going to talk about where did Bentina get the photo of look-a-like a daughter. Did Bentina actually have a daughter? Was that her mother, unlikely the photo looked newer and in color. If Webby’s “parents” where to secretly be hiding Somewhere. I’m sure they’d adopt Webby, but that wouldn’t fit. They couldn’t take Webby from The Family. After all Webby’s a female clone of Scrooge with a bit of different character traits. To me it’s weird that Scrooge has a daughter now I mean he’s older, and would that change how they act around each other. Would Webby call Scrooge Dad or still Uncle Scrooge? Would he act more protective like Beakley? Their is still so many questions I have I wish these could be answered! Anyway Thanks bye!
I think Beakley wasn’t lying about what happened to her daughter and son-in-law. The only part that was a lie was that Webby was their kid. Everything else, the story about her getting too wrapped up in her work until they died and it was too late... I think all of that was real. And the photo is actually of Beakley’s daughter and her husband.
@@3lla_ly I think that they took Scrooge's DNA and someone else's and put them together and implanted the new DNA into a surrogate mother. @jf k well this is a reboot not everything is related about the old DT and the new DT, its not suppose to copy the whole thing, i think that webby's real parent is just scrooge and beakly is there to be her mother (they are partners but not couples)

You make a good point, I now think the show runners would’ve liked to do a fourth season devoted more to Webby (featuring much of what happened in season three) and had season three give Huey more attention.
I freaking loved the finale. It actually was so close to living to my finale standards (thanks to Gravity Falls for raising it) there were a few points that I thought they could have done better but overall I LOVED it

I love that they made it to where Bradford is the reason Della got lost. It makes him even more evil, Scrooge gets to drop that weight off his shoulders and it made me more certain than ever that Bradford was the ultimate supervillain.
I admit it... I teared up when Webby blocked Bradford's sword and said... Get away from my Dad! Also when Scrooge hugged her and said... Webby, darlin'!
But when Webby said "get away from my dad" Scrooge's reaction was like "* gasp * what???" I loved that reaction... Lol... Inside his head he was probably like "wait.... When did I... How did I... " or may even "bless me bagpipes... Goldie???" 😂😂😂
@@peachjellow well knowing Scrooge.... I say he'll think 100% about Goldie... And I'm drawing a kinda post credits scene where we see Goldie's reaction when she finds out Webby is Scrooge's daughter...
The overall ending was alright, but I figure that the series would've end much better if the two clone ducks were introduce a bit early in the series, and also having several more episode before the last episode showing us how they solve last of the mysterious and how they found out where the FOUL hideout are. Well I can't blame, because during a time of covid, time is hard. But it would've been nice if we get several more episode before the last episode.
The show really screwed over Huey for webby Huh. Also, isn’t it weird that they had to make webby officially family, by blood even though they didn’t have to. Literally, it coukd have been that Scrooge considered all of the, his heirs, and thus we did t need a usually blood connection that didn’t need to exist.
I really dont like the idea of webby being scrooges daughterclone. First of all, its a huuuge step away from the comics base the show is built on. Second, it retcons April, May and June who have always been Daisys nieces. I never liked them, felt like weak copies of the nephews but at least they weren't evil clones. Third, is scrooge a father now?! Does this mean that Donald is no longer his main inheritor? That is also a huuuge change to the canon. And fourth, if this is the way Scrooge got his daughter, how can they ever explain this if Webby continues to be part of the canon in the future. This basically NEEDS to be retconned out or Webby needs to never be seen again. To those who liked Webby, me included, this will probably mean she wont be in future series. This was a bad, unnecessary plot twist.
Manny is not a "demon". He's voiced by Keith David, who also voiced Goliath, plus they played the Gargoyles theme song when he manifested his full form, thus showing him to be a gargoyle.
Theres a dark hint in the episode that Bradford may be responsible for Duckworths death aswell; Bradford tells Scrooge he tried to "reel him in" as a picture of Scrooge placing a painting of Duckworth up and mourning him appears on the projector.
I personally wish they wrote more into Donald getting thrown into the rift at the end. Sure Scrooge reacted and they all were in shock but more reaction from Della especially would have been much better to a moment like that. This isn't that relevant and its my opinion. I just wanted to not have anybody come at meh. Thank you
Well. I feel that Bradford could had added a clause to protect himself, the contract and FOWL since, well, if he was going to get rid off Scrooge's allies anyways due off them being a problem, he ahd to add a specific clasue i could speculate something in thesense off: "Interfering with FOWL will not be tolerated"
I think they improved on a lot of characters in this show. Especially Scrooge, The Triplets, and Webby. They made Scrooge seem a LOT more loving to his family than the original. I know he still loved his family, but he definitely wasn’t nearly as lovable as he is now. Especially in the first episode, he literally acted SO mean to them I felt like. Over all, this show just did so many things right. It’s so good.
I can’t express how many times I came back to rewatch the finale , or that each time I did it was still amazing as the first time. Also I’m currently writing a book series that involves this version of the Duck family and will have them play important roles in the story.
I think writing a book series featuring the DuckTales 2017 version of the Duck Family will be a perfect continuation towards this wonderful series. After all, I have a few ideas regarding this show myself.
@@ideamediaanalysis8737 awesome glad I’m not the only one who loved this series, cast , and characters so much that I continue their journey even if it merges with someone else’s.
Perfect as this ending is, in my head this is how it ends... In the Castle episode where Webby tries to save the McDuck Clan she is obsessed with (and statues come to life), she gives a final glance at the end to the empty pedestal where the next great McDuck will be. Due to Magic Reasons she gets a vision of the future, but it ends before she can recognise the statue there. She assumes it must be Scrooge. Then at the end of the entire show, after the credits Lena offers to show Webby something, now that she knows her origin. The vision reappears and Webby realises that the future statue is her adult self. With her intelligence, toughness, family, inheritance and compassion, Webby realises she will go on to surpass Scrooge as the greatest Adventurer and McDuck clan member.
correction; Manny isn't a demon! he's a Gargoyle! Gargoyles was a 1994 Disney afternoon show that aired alongside the original series. it was a darker semi -serialized show. Manny's voice actor is actually the original voice actor for the Gargoyles main character, Goliath!

Its just strange to think of, webby being a clone of scourge, and beckly not actually being webbys biological grandmother, or the parents she made up for webby not being real. That said beckly is still her grandmother how she raised her. So.. does this mean webby is Huey, Dewey, and Louie's aunt?
I think Webby would be the triplets second cousin. Webby being Scrooge’s daughter would mean she is niece to Scrooge’s two sisters. Donald, Della, and Webby would be first cousins. Since the Huey, Dewey, and Louie are Della’s kids I believe that makes them second cousins to Webby.

Actually Webby is April... She was made as ProjectApril... And come to think of it if Donald and Daisy ever get married, that would make Webby/April her niece too, in turn making May and June her nieces too.... The creators really did consider it
@@dinukshiyaselvadurai4257 Webby/April can’t be Donald and Daisy’s niece because Webby is Donald’s uncle’s daughter. She would be a cousin to Donald and Della, and niece to their mother Hortense Duck. Huey Dewey and Louie are great nephews to Scrooge. You always hear “Uncle Donald” and “Uncle Scrooge,” because it’s easier to say, but Scrooge is Donald’s uncle, thus a great uncle to the boys. This is probably why everyone in Lilo and Stitch calls each other “cousin,” because they are all somehow related to each other, and it’s just too complicated to get out the family tree to look up, which is fun to do at family Christmas parties when you’re trying to figure out how your 2nd cousin is related to your great aunt. I also had an uncle that was about 4 years younger than me. Not blood related, but grandparents adopted him after I was born.
@@theumpireofthebottomlesspit it was sad but because of the way the finale ended their bond is now stronger than before...
Edit- I feel the same way as u do buddy ;=;

@Orion Jean not sure I hope it’s still in the same universe especially since we can see Negaduck again and maybe we can see Bradford and FOWL again since FOWL was in the original Darkwing Duck series
@Orion Jean Hope so. Feels like a major missed oppurtunity otherwise.

Wait how did they create webby again?
I think Beakley wasn’t lying about what happened to her daughter and son-in-law. The only part that was a lie was that Webby was their kid.
Everything else, the story about her getting too wrapped up in her work until they died and it was too late... I think all of that was real. And the photo is actually of Beakley’s daughter and her husband.
@@3lla_ly I think that they took Scrooge's DNA and someone else's and put them together and implanted the new DNA into a surrogate mother.

Thank you
No one talks about how Bradford broke his own contract when he threatened Donald that’s when Scrooge should’ve been free
Well. I feel that Bradford could had added a clause to protect himself, the contract and FOWL since, well, if he was going to get rid off Scrooge's allies anyways due off them being a problem, he ahd to add a specific clasue i could speculate something in thesense off:
"Interfering with FOWL will not be tolerated"
I think they improved on a lot of characters in this show. Especially Scrooge, The Triplets, and Webby. They made Scrooge seem a LOT more loving to his family than the original. I know he still loved his family, but he definitely wasn’t nearly as lovable as he is now. Especially in the first episode, he literally acted SO mean to them I felt like. Over all, this show just did so many things right. It’s so good.

Who in here believed that Scrooge was going to get it this time around and not come back? I loved the finale for sure. They took their time and at first the final episode felt rushed but it wasn't. It was precisely what the doctor ordered.
Hahaha Keith David's VA on the man horse with the cameo of The Gargoyles was a nice touch. XD!!! I LIVE AGAIN!!!!!
I wish Ducktales 2017 will have a season 4….
Never thought I'd be watching an analysis about ducktales
I miss Ducktales already it was an amazing reboot. Unlike, a certain GO I know.
Fun fact: The Solego Vortex was a reference to Solego the Chaos God, the villain in a Disney Afternoon crossover comic from the 90s involving TaleSpin, DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Goof Troop, and Darkwing Duck. My jaw dropped when they first mentioned him on the show as that was a deep cut.
Although it’s constantly annoying that they say family family, but I get the point. Still this is a great show.
I'm also annoyed by DT2017's family subject.
Although Mcduck family adventure is over but there is 1 thing is missing WHO IS THE FATHER OF THREE TRIPLETS
Bradford couldn't stop Scrooge's adventures. He should've asked for Disney's help since they clearly can.
nitpick: Manny was not a demon; he was a Gargoyle. Listen to the music that played when he regrew his head.
Imagine they came back when the kids are a bit older as a whole different show... like QuackPack but better
FYI..Manny was not a demon, but a gargoyle, voiced by Keith David, the voice of Goliath.. even had part of the Gargoyles theme song, and repeated the main phrase from the series "Now, I live again!" ( Demona, voiced by Counselor Troi, was a demon...)
@@Jjop017 Is that how cousins work?
@@nation5743 I think it is, but I could be wrong.
Edit: I just checked. I was wrong. Apparently since Webby would Della’s first cousin that would make Webby the boys first cousin once removed, since they are a generation apart.
@@Jjop017 Also, May and June are Webby's daughters.
@@ixiahj let's not think about that
Loved this reboot what the series deserved
He's not a demon he's a gargoyle
Jalapeña!
I honestly started crying at the end Bc I love DuckTales so much. I think it’s such an amazing show and it’s so great and I’m gonna cry thinking about it again 😭
I am so gonna miss Duck Tales. Hopefully, in the future, we can get the truth about the triplets biological father. This show was truly amazing, just like the original one.
I want it as well
I totally agree. Ducktales is actually one the best disney channel animated show ever aired.
It show so much about how family is The Greatest Adventure Of All Time and their everything.
I really love Ducktales even though i just watch for Donald Duck.
My 2nd Most Favourite Cartoon Show ever
Ducktales Family Forever
I am curious what happened to Magica's brother. Also I thought Manny was a reference to Gargoyles.
In " The Life and Crimes od Scrooge McDuck" the second to last episode the fate of Poe, Magica's brother is revealed.
I'm pretty sure he died. Ravens don't have long lifespans
@@KittyOfChess but he’s not a normal raven
Wait the show is over? Man I gotta watch it! I grew up with these characters through the comics that I think are internationally not super relevant but here in germany for a while they we're THE go-to source of children's entertainment.
Finally I’ve been waiting for this!!!😆😆😆
The Gargoyles reference had me laughing so much! I love being an older viewer that can catch these things that might go over younger viewers heads.
Omg I’m gonna miss it
Congrats you were first
@@cusim7437 uh thanks.
Can we just take a moment and appreciate Mays sick hairstyle?? I love the swoosh in the bang :3
So... Webby and Donald are first cousins? Making Huey, Dewey, and Louie first cousins once removed? I dunno... ...I thought April, May, and June were Daisy’s nieces. I know Donald brought the two of them along on his trip with Daisy at the end, but even if she eventually adopts them, April isn’t there? ...is she the Fooey?
April is Webby guys.
As they said “Family is an adventure.” So Webby is the boys “cousin” just as Gustave Gander is their “Cousin,” even though they are once removed.
@@UmmYeahOk I do know the Duck family tree... And... Wow relationships are so confusing... So technically Webby can't be niece of Donald... I stand corrected... I feel super dumb. And thanks for pointing that out...😅😅😅
@Cameron Goings First cousins once removed
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Issac. 🍀
In my opinion making Webby Scrooge's daughter was completely unnecessary . Webby could have been made into her own thing and her adventurous personality her own thing and not the byproduct of being a McDuck . Overall great finale
yeah, it was kinda weird having a revelation 2 times in the same episode.
Yup. I enjoyed the finale but that part made me roll my eyes just a lil. Launch pads story arc made up for it.
But clones seemed a little far fetched
Also wouldn't heron recognised Webby in agent 22 episode and have brought her before Bradford
It wasn't great
You finished school! I'm so Proud of you! That's not an easy feat! And congratulations for Now living on your own! that's so exciting!
Also, you've probably already been told this somewhere down in the comments already. But Manny wasn't just a demon, he was a gargoyle! If you haven't seen the Gargoyle series yet, i highly recommend! It was my favourite growing up as a child. That and Darkwing duck.
Also, I have to bring up the fact that Donald Duck is one of scrooge's most trusted allies. I wish this would be talked about more. I need to go back and examine Why Donald out of everyone is his most trusted. He is very loyal, but why trusted?
