I was so unsatisfied with alt. I dont know if my expectations were too high or what, i buy alot of decants and samples so im used to buying a whole haul of stuff and not finding anything I like. But alt was by far the biggest waste of money in my fragrance journey. I got crystal (baccarat rouge) in 100ml, and nirvana (roja Elysium) in 60 ml. $115 literally washed down the toilet. Nirvana smelled like dollar store brand of windex. Cheap chemicals. Crystal smelled like melted candy in the cupholder of the third row seat of a 1998 toyota sienna minivan with dingy dirty carpets that no carpet extractor could ever clean. Not only that, the labels on the bottles were crooked and peeling due to leaking in the package on the way to my house. Then get this.. the atomizer gave out on the 100ml bottle. The pump just stopped working, you couldn't get any fragrance out. It would just bubble at the bottom of the pick up tube of the atomizer when you'd try to spray it. So my idea was to switch it with the atomizer from the 60ml bottle I got from alt. So i did. A few sprays later, that atomizer gave out as well 🤣🤣🤣. Nothing i received from alt had any type of quality, nor did they smell anything close to what they claimed.
Holy cow. Not even sure if it’s worth the discounted $20 you can find in Marshall’s. Especially with fragrances like Lattafa’s Ramz sitting right next to it for $17!
