I own the S2K in this video and man am I thrilled! This video is so awesome and I can't believe that's my car! I bought this car from the original owner 11yrs ago when it had 23k miles. Now has 65k and I had wanted to supercharge it for sometime but never did, until now. The money and time I spent on this build was well worth it. The S2K is such a great drivers car as I have tracked it about 20 times and it is so rewarding to drive. John and his team did a great job and I could not be more pleased. My first track day with it is this Thursday at CMP in Kershaw SC. I live near Charlotte, NC and wanted to do the Optima USCC but waited to register until the build was complete only to find out the events already sold out and waitlisted! I hope to make a video of it at the track this week and if so I'll come back to this page with a link. I'm in the advanced group so hopefully there will be some Porsche's, Vette's, etc that I can try to keep up with and see how much faster it is already. The night I arrived back at home with the car I went for a joyride and a guy in a 997 Porsche 911 was behind me so I nailed it and I walked away from him up to 110 and then he lifted but I stayed in it up to 135. It gets there in a hurry compared to when it was NA. It kind of petered out at about 115 but now with over 400hp it's still pulling. If you have an S2K and want to have some work on it I highly recommend these guys do the work. They are very professional and quite knowledgable about S2K's having done 25+ supercharger kits. The Polythane bushings tightened up the suspension nicely. I have KW Variant 3 coilovers and I will tighten up the compression side of things before track time. It had the original top on it and it's a model yr 2000 with a build date of 6/99 so this car is 17yrs old and the top didn't leak but was looking really bad so I had them put a new one on. LHT uses only Honda OEM tops and this is a AP2 top and it fits perfect. It is super snug and looks great. I could not be more pleased with the new top especially with the glass window. My old tops plastic window was turning green and blue!! LOL That was the worst part of it. Nobody loves this video more than me so a big thank you to John and his team at LHT!!!! :) I've watched it 8 times since yesterday!!!! Remember, If everything seems ok, you're not going fast enough!

Excellent video, John. Very similar to what you did for my 2001 AP1 car, which continues to be a daily joy to drive. And the new leather replacement that you had done on the stock steering wheel was a tactile part of the joy.

A question that would help myself and a lot of the lurkers. Reliability wise, how long will the stock motor and transmission last before you have to upgrade?
****Update**** This car dropped a valve 2 yrs ago and has been sitting ever sence.. Never made a track day and wasn’t beat on in dailying!! I suspect it was an oversight on the gen 1 VS gen 2 valvetrain diffrences.. gen 2 upgrade would have curbed this issue
We have installed 27 kits without issue, One of the customers has put 62K miles on his and has being back for an annual check up with a clean bill of health. I would sell this to my best friend.
@LHTPerformance how do y'all typically torque the crankshaft pulley adapter? I'm installing mine now and I can't figure out how to torque the pulley with the adapter in it.
Just to set expectations, one probably isn't going to just go for the supercharger kit, you're going to want an exhaust system, perhaps some of the upgrades such as a better radiator, bigger brakes, gauges etc. If your S2000 is stock, to do everything it's probably going to cost you $10-12k which sounds like a good deal to me.
Last year we sold and installed 36 Alpha headers for S2000s. I have had no issues. I have no loyalty to anyone's parts, If it sucks I wont use it. I installed the very first Kraftwerks kit on and S2000 when the 'Under sized" blower was jammed under the header.I hated it and said I'll never do another one. And I didn't ! I stay true to myself and my customers, I use and sell parts based on their quality , Not their profit margin!

It sounds like you may be an expert. How many boosted cars have your built ? We've done 55 Kraftwerks kits with said clamps and no one single clamp failure. And then throw in about another 100+ Hondas with the same type clamp with no problems.

Doesn't a new clutch need a break in period before putting full throttle to it? Will that cause any issues to run it hard brand new?

We have never used on, The AEM V2 does such a good job I wouldn't see the need in trying it unless we saw the need.

We don’t, sorry. The urethane bushings tend to squeak after about a year. Even using the specialty grease. I’d stick with oem.
What's a quote for this installation, say the sway bar, bushings, and supercharger on a stock 02 s2000... would you recommend the new clutch?

ppy1111 Torque To factory spec. You’ll need the large Hex to hold the pulley.

We’d have do it and see what time it takes, rust, fitment etc often play a part and I hate to quote something we can’t stick to.

What does the clutch master cylinder brace do?
It prevent flexing of the firewall which the master cylinder is attached to. It makes a terrific difference. Check out the reviews on S2Ki.com

dem spark-plugs look not that good. one point spark place only.
SS bolts + Aluminum = Galvanic corrosion
