Back in the 90s alot of people put big block springs in the front to lift the car....what are your thoughts on that....PS love the channel, you have definitely helped me with working on dads 70!!!!
Thanks for all of your videos ive learned allot. I picked up a 74 last year and itll be my first car to build. Started pulling passenger drum brakes & suspension today. Any recommendations on places to buy upper& lower control arms & disc brake conversion kit? CPP seems like a good spot. Thoughts on ebay control arms?
Hey bud I just came across your channel definitely liking the content. I have 1 quick question for you pertaining to the 72 novas On the back window when i roll it down it stops halfway passenger and driver side was this a safety add on in 72
Hey, what's going on? John? I made a video on those door pins. Anyway, I got them to work. I just used my original washers and they seem to work fine. Anyway, quick question. What is a good wiring harness from Amazon that you would suggest for A72 Nova.
Do you have a link for those wheels? and what tire size? I want rally's and I want to run a 255 rear, but all I can find at a reasonable price are 15x7 4.25in offset and I'm afraid that ill be too close the outer fender. I can find 4.5in offset, but they're like 3x the price?
Love the videos just little confused it has been claimed that all novas are different on what wheel tire combo you can fit under the rear 5.5 bs or 4.5 with a 275/60/15 or 65. The 5.5 was to much and the 4.5 bs needed to be rolled.
Good job, here's a little tip. When you're banging around bolts put a small piece of rubber fuel line on them to protect the threads.
Best Nova channel out there pound per pound! Keep up the good helpful videos! Need to do this with my 68 Nova Project! Thanks 😊
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing and inviting us into your shop. Like the budget Nova. Still like the convertible footage too.
I’ll have more on that soon
it will settle a little bit more when you test drive it also. I like the stance, I think it looks like a Nova should.
The stance looks great on this car. My favorite generation of Novas!
Hair is pretty high and tight there!
Good job...thanks for sharing.
I was shocked that we didn't put on any shocks , lol looks great nice stance paint or no paint ? 👍👍
i think it looks more racy. i like it! i might raise the rear end 1/2 - 1” but dealers choice on that.
Its good to see ya!! The Nova is looking good!!
Nice! not sure that is 2" lowered though. My 69 sits like that at least factory ride height but probably more. Eather way love that stance.
Yeah it’s looking pretty good
Very good job , explanation & video 👏😉
Thank you !

Hey, John, any word on the part number for those door pins, though solid striker door pins.

Looks good! What about 2” drop spindles?

The ideal bs is usually 5”. Most wheels either come in 5.5 or 4.5. All cars are a little different. So I usually use 5.5” with a 1/4 to 1/2 spacer.
With these coils, is there a certain way they have to go in? I know some cars/trucks have a flat section of the spring, and some don't.
There is an indentation for the end of the spring on lower control arm. If the bottom is correct the top is correct in frame.
Good job man alive your car sounds so goooooooood what’s the exhaust mufflers size of pipe and tail pipes or down drafts how long is it
These are old flowmaster 2.5” two chambers with 2.5 exhaust
