Lily rose is not a real reborn. When I bought her a while back I thought she was one and I posted on Facebook how I got my first reborn...well fast forward a few days and I got a ton of hateful comments about how she wasn’t a reborn and that I was a liar and “haha your so broke and cheap that you can’t get a real reborn”. The worst comments were the ones where people said she was ugly and a waste of money and looked super fake. Well I have had her for a few years now and out in public people think she’s real!! I’m only telling you not to use the term reborn for paradise gallery and Ashton drake babies so people won’t pick on you or make fun of you like they did to me. Trust me it sucks and it makes you feel sad and upset at the very least. That being said she’s a lovely doll in her own right but take EXTREME care that her limbs or fingers or toes don’t break cuz they break off really easily. My lily rose actually lost a finger and began to crack after day 3 even though she remained on a shelf!! Also a heads up...eventually all the hair will fall out because silicone babies can’t keep rooted hair in. I guess cuz their squishy unlike regular Ashton drake babies. Not telling you this to be mean I just wish someone had told me this upfront. I have a regular vinyl Ashton drake doll and have had him for like 10years and his hair is still in place. I also have an Ava from Ashton drake that I got a month ago and all the hair fell out even though she too mostly sat on a shelf. Ashton drake partial silicones are not that expensive mostly good quality and do look real for the most part but there’s also flaws like the hair coming out or the silicone cracking then breaking off so please be careful with them or any partial silicone babies because once their broken it’s hard to fix them and some can never be fixed and your out a lot of money. I truly believe vinyl dolls are the way to go since they stay like new longer. Congrats though cuz she’s a truly and wonderfully lovely little girl who’ll always put a smile on your face!! Just treat her like a REAL newborn and you should be good for quite sometime
Thank you for the tips! Yeah I’ve done box opening for Amazon babies and I get a lot of hate. I can see their point tho, but people can be cruel. I love my lily Rose. I’m going to have to keep a eye out of the fingers and toes. I’ve been nervous about those cause I could tell they’d be easy to tear off
@@theresac3070 as long as your careful dressing her you should be good but for extra security I always put socks and scratch mittens on her feet and hands. That works really well for protecting the delicate limbs. Also to protect her hair when your not dressing or cuddling her just put a baby hat on and it limits the amount of hair that’ll fall out. Like the socks and mittens I always have her in a hat no matter what and there’s a lot of cute hats out there. I have tons but my favs for her have a headband or bow attached to it so she still gets to wear bows and pretty things. Also don’t forget to baby powder her to keep her from getting all sticky. Powdering once a week is enough but if you dress her in another outfit baby powder helps the clothes to go on smoothly without damaging her. You can wash her limbs with a mild baby soap and wet wash cloth then dry her good. If you wanna play with her hair (though I don’t recommend it) just put water in a spray bottle and gently spray her hair...never use baby shampoo or any shampoo for that matter cuz it’ll make the hair fall out faster. It’s best to leave her hair completely alone except maybe for a quick brush if her hair gets messed up

Yes I think she does have alittle more weight. I love her! You won’t be disappointed!
