  • My next plan was to bikepack the abandoned Denali Park road. After a landslide in 2021 made the back half of the road inaccessible to vehicles, it created an unusual opportunity: cycling one of the most scenic roads on Earth without a single vehicle on the road.

    Sounds like you got back to the park entrance at the right time to get out before the fires. That’s pretty wild!

      If I arrived one day later the park would've been closed and I wouldn't have been able to see anything!
