Hi dear, yes due to the nature of this motor being ultralight and compact, thus the Lightweight motors often operate at higher RPMs (revolutions per minute) to compensate for their smaller size. Higher RPMs can lead to increased noise levels. Also Lightweight motors use bearings and other components that have higher friction coefficients, leading to increased resistance. Hope this helps.
