- Presenting before you, an instrumental (violin) cover of the magical song 'O Rangrez' from the movie 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' (2013), that starred Farhan Akhtar in the lead, and Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Pavan Malhotra, and Yograj Singh as the supportive cast. It has been meticulously sung by the legends Javed Bashir and Shreya Ghoshal and written by Prasoon Joshi.

The song depicts the undying love of a young Milkha Singh, who later tragically finds out that everything comes at a cost and that not everyone is able to wait for their love when they go away to chase something that they consider important at that time.

It is probably one of the toughest compositions I've ever played, and Kudos to the original composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for creating such a melodious and challenging track for music lovers out there. This is my humble attempt of the same.

Hello! I am also a violinist (western classically trained) and I really love your playing. The way you dance around the melody is mesmerizing. It adds a lot of dimension and beauty to the music, which I believe is intrinsic to Hindustani classical music. I request if you could please make lessons on the Hindustani style of playing the violin? Where to play meend and how to add the other ornamentations and which swar are they made of? I would be grateful if you could also combine practical demonstrations with the theory of Hindustani classical music. If there are some resources (books/websites/articles/videos) that I could refer to for some knowledge, please tell me. Thank you 🙏

I wish I could, but I play by the ear and not by notation.
@@SharangAgarwal I know this is too much to ask but can you create one, if possible? It's just that whenever I listen to this, I get this strong urge to play it. I am not able to find notes of this song anywhere. It's been only 10 months I have been playing violin. My ear is not trained yet. I can play only by notation for now.
Short tutorials on YT Shorts/Insta Reels are in the pipeline. Maybe those will help 🤗
PS - Try going for simpler songs at first. That will keep up your confidence, which you'll be needing A LOT as a budding violinist.
This instrument requires much more patience than others, as you must've started to figure out.
