Hey guys, I finally finished the sorting and counting process and put a few visuals together to recap the breakdown.

Another thing keep in mind when buying Lego in bulk is storage. Recently my dad bought a large bin of Lego at a yard sale. I like to sort my Lego based on size and type of brick. Because of the large quantitie of bricks and all of the different shapes and sizes, I had to expand my Lego storage. Also, I normally buy used Lego in only small quantities at a time, so I had no plans of expaning my Lego storage.

Very true, I had the same problem when I started buying larger amounts of LEGO in 2018. Since then I have overhauled my storage system and sorting process. As I continue to bring in bulk lots I've even started an overflow stockpile for bricks and plates. Thanks for the comment.

I have bought 1 lot in the past and I am buying a lot in about an hour, and what I love is when you get to the bottom and you start finding really cool (but dirty) small Lego pieces. The bottom is the cool stuff.
Anyways, I love your videos and I am glad you started to upload again

Thanks for watching Jin, I had a look around your channel and you know the ups and downs of bulk LEGO! Thanks to some other projects I have still not completed the inventory for this lot yet, but it's looking close to 33K parts overall.

I collect action figures also. Often I find accessories and weapons for GI Joe or Transformers. That stuff can help you recover some on your investment.

Cleaning Lego is pretty easy . . . I put it in zipped mesh laundry bags and run it through a cycle. Everything comes out fine.

I got a bulk lot recently that had a lot of Tyco bricks in it. Parents will buy just about any plastic bricks for their kids...

more and more copy cats joining the market, thankfully I haven't been burned too badly when it comes to these bulk lots. The pictures are your best bet for getting a good guess about the brand before you buy

COBI comes from Europe, it`s NOT a Chineese product at all, and it has COBI sign on every brick. Thanks for the video!

I find chewed pieces in every lot. Kids like to chew them.
