    P.S. You don't need to speak French in Toronto, or anywhere in Canada, for that matter. Most of Canada speaks English as a first language. The only two large cities in Canada where it helps to know French are Quebec City (required) and to a lesser extent, Montreal (where it helps to know French, but is not absolutely necessary, as over 70% of the population can understand and speak English).

    i always rolled my eyes at manifestation stuff until my friend showed up with this crazy new energy after reading Vibrations of Manifestation. they seemed more focused, more at peace, and things just started falling into place for them-like they weren’t chasing anymore, just attracting. it’s subtle but powerful. apparently, the book is hard to find because it keeps disappearing, but if you’re curious, it’s worth the hunt

    The reason on why the players aren't going to Toronto more current state (over the last 2 years) has been primarily due to the instability in the long-term look of the team. i.e. Vladdy not signed, Bo not signed, farm system in not a good place. But, also, I believe that the culture on the team may not be in the best place with this current regime. I think more the front end of my thoughts likely the cause - but the team culture could be an issue too.

    • @TheEWFX29
      @TheEWFX29 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes I think that's the biggest reason. Boston got that last year and they had a good farm team. But the players weren't 100% happy because of no help from the front office and being cheap. Montgomery didn't want to come here. Teoscar wanted to but the Sox wouldn't spend Kenley wasn't happy with no help. The players talk and they know what are good situations and what are bad ones. Toronto is the team now without much support or wanting to spend on regular players and it has caught up to them. If Santander had more offers he might not have gone there. Hoffman went to two other teams before signing in Toronto. The Santander talk had gone on for weeks. I think he was waiting for offers that just weren't coming. They might get Alonso the same way.

    • @DarkJediForce
      @DarkJediForce 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      All those issues are due to an incompetent front office. The way Atkins and Schapiro have constructed the roster, disrespected their star players and gaslit the fan base are all huge problems. Just this offseason alone, from letting Cleveland dump 2 unwanted contracts on the teams payroll to their inability to extend any players of consequence on the team, to finally depleting the farm system of almost all the talent, this front office has failed the team.

    • @BaseballFanatik
      @BaseballFanatik 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Exactly. The fact that they HAVE been able to sign guys in the past only proves that Toronto is a destination for many players. Great city, very passionate and supportive fanbase (many players have said that Rogers Centre is one of the loudest and most difficult places to play when the Jays are in contention), perhaps the best Spring Training complex in MLB, renovated stadium with upgraded player and player-family amenities. But what has changed in the last 24 months is the lack of direction from the front office and the subsequent results on the field. If Vlad gets signed and they have a good season, it's likely to that we see more interest in signing in Toronto next offseason.

      Yanks were brutal with him, despite his MVP play...the Dynasty started once he was done. (He was there part time for the first)
      LA won it all as soon as he left and Miami also made a good playoff run when he left.
      We lost our personality when he arrived.

    It has become so difficult for Toronto bc as a Jays fan we all dislike/hate our own management here.
    Nobody like Shapiro & Atkins they've been in Toronto for ten years & haven't even won a playoff game yet alone push the chips all in to truly compete for a world series.
    Rogers has the money but the front office always seems cheap or not willing to go all in.
    Sure they made offers for Ohtani & Soto but let's be realistic they weren't willing to pay them both the most money!
    The Jays are in on everyone but seldom ever get anyone.
    They took so long to sign Santander knowing full well they knew they needed power upgrades idk why they waiting so long to sign power bats?🤨?
    Jays fans are completely frustrated from this front offices moves over the past ten years.
    Atkins always says the wrong things publicly he has no self awareness whatsoever which only pisses Jays fans off even more.
    As Jays fans we have all wanted Shapiro & Atkins to be fired years ago but they have Rogers fooled thinking they will go all in.
    The fact remains the Jays bullpen has always been a major issue & they had too many slap hitters the past few years.
    Hopefully they do what it takes to really compete.
    Even if they do those things I still want Shapiro & Atkins fired after this season.
    It's time for Jays to hire new front office management.
    Ten years of failure is way too long for Jays fans who have been suffering!

    I mean the only teams that land the big free agents are LA and New York (Yanks/Mets), it's impressive they're always in the mix. Getting Santander for $18/year is a solid move, especially if they can lock up Alonso and a few other FAs.

It's time for the players to be the one who elect the players. And when try and argue that character is part of the process, Ty Cobb was the first elected and he was a racist, deliberately tried to hurt players and more, so if that's your gold standard then all bets are off.
