Elden Ring has exceeded my already incredibly high expectations in terms of gameplay. But the best thing about it honestly might still be the fact that it brought multiple Mcconnell streams
Radahn has 1 really ugly attack where he kinda double swings and does a 180 during that 26:46 . You need a pretty perfect positioning in order to dodge that one safely, which I found badly designed, but besides that you could learn to kill him falwless consistently. With bloodhoundstep dodging the attack mentioned above is way easier ofc. Also: Weapons that get upgraded with somber stone are usually pretty strong. In Caelid you find a +7, 8, 9 in Volcano Manor you find +5, 6, 7 and everything from +1-4 can be purchased from Ichi. So by the time you arrive at the Boss Radahn, you usually have already mats for +4 or higher. The rarest ones are the +7 somber stones. Getting one requires clearing Volcano Manor past Godskin Noble or doing the Ranni quest (past Radahn) or entering Snowfields (past Morgott). So my guess is most people could do Radahn with a somber stone weapon +6/10 and with that your damage is pretty decent in most cases. Its just that you can "stumble" into the boss relatively early, which make him seem like one of the hardest of the game. With a +9 weapon you can mostly kill him before he even can go into phase 2. Doesnt matter if with Moonveil, Reduvia, Serpent Hunter, Deaths Poker etc.
Im so glad I didnt know about the summons when I killed Radahn. I literally had no idea it was possible to summon lol. Still wouldnt have done it, it feels way too epic to get him solo.
i found this fight "easier" on foot for the first phase and switching between mount to escape the big aoes in the second phase. Still felt like there is an rng element in the second phase.
2:20:00 Mcconnell breaks for Pizza

2:38:00 live dubbing of ugly bastard hentai
Pizza time was the power boost he needed to beat Radahn
or a stream of npcs that was endless
He really refused to summon people for Radahn, but couldnt spend an hour on radagon without using mimic tear lol
So frustrating to see him not realizing the apostle was going to throw the flame ball every time anyway he just needed to wait till after it to drink
Oh yes! Thanks a lot, I didn't think I could see this again.
dude i can't wait till mccool plays ERDTREE !! lollll
I wish I could enjoy life as much as Mcconnell enjoyed that pizza :)
