I adore the fact that you keep your snakes in such wonderful set ups, even the ones that are in temporary racks have lots of room. Its a refreshing change from the more popular snake keepers.
Awesome! I fell in love Spilotes when I caught my first one in the Yucatan 25 years ago. I am always looking for them online and this video just pushed them to the top of my "must get" list! Congrats on your project and I hope you reclaim your high yellows in the very near future.
the pic of the one with the line down it's back... WOW !!! jejeje very nice, liked several others too. Mine is from here (Costa Rica, Turialba or San Carlos aera) mine is almost all black compared to yours. Eating very well now !
Did you try to drop the Males temp before breeding ... possibly that will help with fertility issues ... I know that helps with my Drymarchon maybe it would help in this situation as well possibly but 5 of 6 is awesome
Very nice snakes ! I hope you raise this babies with success ! Those are in my future projet because i have seen some here in France for sale..... Good job !
Carinata I’ve sold all Indonesia locality animals and started a new project with Malaysian only. We’ll see how those animals look in 2-3 months for breeding. Spilotes also wrong time of year...usually summer for most of the colubrid hatching.
They are simply infertile eggs. Why they get missed during the fertilization process is just mother nature. In my experience, double clutches usually have a higher amount of them for some reason.

Thanks for sharing the story on these guys. I love the enclosures in your office, by the way.
Love this species. One of my favorite colubrids.
I Really Enjoy This Man's Videos,,,
Picked up my first tiger rat today. Nice video!
Beautiful snakes. And great vivs!
congratulations on the spilotes great news. glad you decide not give up on them completely perseverance always pays off in the end.
I hope I find another video that shows them as adults now🤞Thank you 🙏🏻
samasia skipperable Yes that is coming...they are just about breedable size and I will likely give them a go this season.
great video. I have got some green rat snake eggs and was wondering if I should incubate them at high 70s too. my snakes are from Arizona btw.
I couldn't really direct you on that species as I have never worked with those. High 70's pertains mostly to tropical colubrids.
+DMexotics OK thanks for the info
Now that it's been 3 years, did you hold all these back and how do they look now?
Gorgeous snakes man definitely going to keep an eye out for one ☝️
Seems like I’m one of the only guys that love the natural forms of snakes versus morphs
Jbird - High-yellow tiger rat snakes occur in the wild.
mattslev I just mean all these morphs now days vs wild natural colors, all species.
Awesome video!

Congrats! They are an amazing species. Any chance you are going to offer up any of those beautiful babies?

👍👍👍👍
Are you gna have any spilotes available this year?
I don't think so, my employee has only mentioned Gonyosoma and Orthriophis doing their thing so far.
hey...that's pretty good!
Do you have any Tiger Rat Snakes available???
No but I have started a waiting list for next year.
GRATS!
I love huge colubrids!
why do "slugs" occur?
They are simply infertile eggs. Why they get missed during the fertilization process is just mother nature. In my experience, double clutches usually have a higher amount of them for some reason.
STATUS on Availability?
I will check in Malaysia when I am back there.
THANKS 👍
do snakes have nipples??
