Let them battle it out. A few weeks ago I found all these dead ants on a pathway . the only thing I could conclude was they went to war as I dontnuse any pesticides on my property except for a barrier against my house and that was just one time because I saw cockroaches in my yard and didn't want them making it into my home. They never did. I also used baking soda around the perimeters of my home too.

unless there invasive ants don't kill them they supply the roots with oxygen and kill some pests like grasshoppers whats your home state so I can tell the details of whats invasive and what's not for you if your in the northeastern USA some common invasive ants are pharaoh ants (those golden ants you find in your house) and Myrmica Rubra (europian fire ants) they can also be good for soil decomposition and seed disposal

That is an interesting concept I’ve never heard of before! We don’t have an ant pile in our garden and honestly I can’t find any in our yard, but we have ants all over the plants in the garden. Ive tried cinnamon and cayenne pepper to no avail. The ants foster the white flies and aphids and make a buggy mess in the garden.

Thanks for posting this, l live in the southeast and used this method very effectively for years! I liked to use two shovels and a helper, then we would shovel down deep at the same time and quickly switch the little murderous stingers! Once l had to repeat but not any more. Go deep, switch quickly and those holding shovel won't get stung and the next day there is a huge difference! Join me in smiling as you pass the ant killer bags in the store! Yeah!!! Thanks again!

I subscribed after watching this video a couple of days ago.
This morning I was talking to my husband about your video and he was very skeptical because we have done everything imaginable to get rid of fire ants. SO, I forwarded the video to him and after watching it, he was out on the property with a shovel like a crazy man LOL piling ants on top of ants everywhere he could!!! It was hilarious! :) :) :)
Thank you for sharing. We look forward to seeing the results and I am excited to have the ant piles out of the garden! :) Maybe the ant battle (war) will run any survivors into the woods NEVER to return!
    Blessings from N. Alabama ♥

Kinda how it is n both just leave the battle field one to save their queen cause that's all that matters and the other to get back to their queen because she's all that matters

Just be careful that the species isn't capable of merging colonies and containing multiple queens (ie: AntsCanada's Golden Empire). Otherwise, you'd just get a much bigger colony.
