    I love these jets. But I should. I work on them everyday. Proud to keep them going. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

      My grandpa used to make parts for the f-35 he told me how he did it but never what it was for because top secret stuff usually, only people who make it government and people who fly them know what's all truly in them and how they are truly made. I'm sure you know alot the public doesn't and that's something I find cool lol but hey thanks for doing what you do it isn't easy work tbh

    The T-38 and F-5E are simply the best looking fighter aircraft ever made and still are today.

      I sat in one too. I was in the Big Brother program and my "brother" was an air force pilot, he flew the T-38 and the Stratofortress. Don't remember much about the T-38 unfortunately. Only thing I remember was being told not to mess with the ejection system. I do remember getting to go inside the B-52 though, they had just unloaded live nukes from it. I remember thinking that was so cool.

    I couldn’t stand seeing the T-38 everyday during tech school at Sheppard AFB back in 1999. Now I’ve come to respect them.

      It has to be one of the best simple and reliable designs to ever fly. Incredible little planes. I’ve even seen videos of them taking off on bumpy dirt strips just fine

    Other than a extra seat, if there any difference between the T38 and F5?

    • @delten-eleven1910
      @delten-eleven1910 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes, the F-5 has a larger nose that houses radar, it has 2x 20mm cannons above that and greater thrust engines, also there are external differences when compared side by side, i.e. intakes wings and landing gear. It's like comparing the Hornet to the Super Hornet; put them side by side.

    The perfect airplane; looks great, does everything and challenging to fly. Only two problems: crap wheel brakes and limited fuel capacity. In 2000+ hours of flying the T-38, I was NOT looking at the fuel gages for maybe 15 minutes total.

    Hawker definitely got inspiration from the T-38 when they designed the Hawk, they looks very similar although the T-38 is faster and has afterburning engines.
