Just beat Pikmin 3 deluxe and I love this theme. The perfect blend of pumping you up to save the captain we all love and unsettling, their to remind you that you're fighting something other worldly in nature.
I love this theme even more than all of the others because in the other boss themes it always feels like its a fight for survival. When you kill a boss, you get a theme which feels sad in a way like we finally survived it. But here you can feel the pump as though its telling you, this matters, you beat this boss you save your home planet. There is hope and desperation perfectly blended together
Two VERY scary creatures in the pikmin series Is the water wraith undefeatable unless you have some purple pikmin by your side, and the plasm wraith a scary blob that fallows you and olimar until you get outside then makes a very good attempt to kill you and keep olimar the water wraith is still a bit more terrifying it will appear after a while in the submerged Castle's sub-levels until you reach the Final Floor when you face off with it.
I don't get how a Giant Island Monster found a Computer big enough for him to be able to type on it, Let alone find a Computer and Wi-fi on that Desolate Planet of PNF-404.
The creatures of the Pikmin series would look small in real life, the Snagret is about a foot long, The Quaggled Mireclops is probably the biggest creature, about a meter wide, our computers should be fine for one.
Yeah if you’re scrub. They can only die to the fire and water, which if you’re good shouldn’t claim to many if any at all. The main attack only knocks Rock Pikmin back.

The final boss themes of Pikmin just keep getting better. This is the best one. The first one made use of a pipe organ. The second one was just grand and intimidating which suited the boss. This one is just epic.
I literally just completed pikmin 3 for the first time, after having it since it's release. And I think it's safe to say, this game was the hardest, had the hardest bosses and final boss, and overall the best. In pikmin 2 (which I also recently completed my first run of) all of the bosses took a few seconds to beat, but these bosses actually take time and effort. The titan dweevil was a breeze too, for my first try, I didn't even lose any pikmin. The plasm wraith, however, was fucking god status difficulty. I don't even think it is possible to retain all of your pikmin with no deaths, as it is so challenging, but fun. I lost around 100 pikmin trying to beat this thing.
i think the difficulty of the bosses in pikmin 2 comes from the lack of a locking feature and the additional enemies on stage (ex. jellyfloats in the hole of heroes), but that's really it. in pikmin 3, a freakin' bulborb can wipe out half of your squad if you charge them in the wrong direction
Advice: If you want to defeat this boss with all Pikmin intact after the boss comes out of the cave and eats Olimar, use Rock Pikmin only (I recommend geting a maximum of 100 at a time). It's the easiest way to defeat the boss with all Pikmin intact. The reason is that when the final boss pokes at the Rock Pikmin, they can't get stabed. So that way you only have to deal with the fire and water hazard (I didn't forget the electric hazard because it only paralyze your Pikmin and won't result to Pikmin loss in this version). You can also use the balance amount of each all different kinds of Pikmin and end accomplish this. But it is really difficult and you must be vigilant. This is very easy to screw-up. This is way I recommend using only a total of 100 Rock Pikmin at a time. I hope my advice benefits anyone reading this comment. Good luck, your going to need it.

I remember the first time playing Pikmin 3 amazing man when I got to the boss I'm not going to lie probably scared me than any other boss in the pigments series just because this thing has feelings for a chad like character
I only wish the Plasm Wraith was developed further, I could imagine a whole 3rd act in which you slowly learn more about the new threat of these wraiths. Or maybe I was just sad at the game ending too soon and wanted more Pikmin 😂

Pikmin 3: A Golden Blob that manipulate the main 3 elements (+ create crystal boxes and he can fly) that try to kill you touching you with his spiky and quick fingers. Hey Pikmin!: A giant Hydra plant that try to kill you with poison attacks (+ stomps in the 2nd phase)
I love how it's a mix of sweet adventure music and creepy monster battle music! I don't care what anyone says but that's a pretty good mix!!! Although I don't think that combo would work with anything else.
i want to point out that olimar only got captured by this thing because he thought it was treasure because it happens to be the color gold... i bet if the plasm wraith was a different color, pikmin 3 would have had a very different ending lol

There is another theory going around that sometime after the Goolix was destroyed his spirit possessed a Mamuta larva and continued to morph and twist it eventually turning it from the Smokey Progg, to the Water Wraith then finally the Plasm Wraith taking on increasingly more matter based forms as it continues to gain power in it's host's body. It's goal was to kill Olimar then take his ship so it can escape the planet in revenge because it blames him for being stranded on the planet.

Mr. Sizzle I don't really class the waterwraith as a boss, more of a hazard. The crawbster was time consuming, but that's about it.
Segmented Crawbster. Yeah he is tough. So is Waterwraith. Those dang rollers. Also don't even get me started on (spoilers) Titan Dweevil.
