  • There is so much disorder in this video it is almost criminal to upload it! Watch this video to find out what I am talking about and find out what entropy is how it links with states of matter and why Endothermic reactions are sometimes favourable even at room temperature. Get yourself organised with this vid!

    can you please make a video on organic synthesis pathway and give us tips on how we could learn it well

      +nimbuzzin said Yes this one is defo on my to do list. It's a big chunk that requires careful planning and a lot of repetition. Watch this space.

    When you're referring to the physical states, isnt H2O in a gaseous phase going to have a higher value of entropy in comparison to H2O in liquid phase?

      Yes. That's right! 😀

      In the video, entropy is 699jk-1mol-1 for liquid phase and 189 for gas phase haha

      Ah. It is actually 69.9. There is decimal point on the board and I mention it too. It probably isn't easy to see on the vid.

    does increasing the area increase the entropy as the molecules have more space?

    • @spicy4868
      @spicy4868 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's been 2 years but I'll assume you still don't know; the answer is yes. More space means greater different possibilities of the arrangement of molecules thus entropy increases.

    Hi, pls could u clarify the standered conditions are not required for AQA Chemistry. Plz

    What do the units actually mean? Eg for enthalpy changes, the enthalpy of formation would give out exothermically, say 200 KJ per mol.
    But what does J/KMOL actually mean in entropy?
