Actually a Series II. I had a 1938 on the road in 1971, Croydon registered DOY 477. Very quick in the South London traffic of the day. Believed to have been scrapped, alas, after my custodianship. A Series I (EXO 714 I think) rescued later by me survives - preserved by a Register member.
I love that modern looking Rad Grill. I thought they were the post -war ones. My first car was a 1935 '8', with Honey Comb Rad. I was forever digging out the Flies and other debre.
Just love the Morris 8 👍
