- In this video, I unbox, review and demo the 2024 Home Depot Knight Dullahan Halloween Animatronic. Everything started off fine and then...the noise of death happened. I am waiting on a replacement head and I hope it works. I will do a follow up video.
Great job demonstrating the pros and cons of these Halloween animatronics. I enjoy watching your videos and look forward to what you have to say about these products. Your videos help me decide which animatronics to buy. I feel your true opinions are valid. Thanks again and keep doing what you do.

Thanks for the video i just received my Knight Dullahan, now i need to check mine, you're the Only video I've seen so far it seems this one was hard to get before it sold out, Thanks Again for letting us know.

Man, that blows. Hopefully you can get whatever needs replaced ASAP. I wish these things didn't talk so freaking much.
@@MoonMagicks thanks! I did get the replacement part so he is working now. I also just sold him for retail. He was just to big for original plan to use him. He is definitely cool!
I just went to Home Depot today, and the Knight Dullahan there had the same problem.
@@ReturnOfTurnation yeah I ended up selling mine for retail price. I was sent the replacement head but I didn’t even want to put it back together so I just sold it. It’s definitely cool but not worth the hassle. I’ve had issues with every one of my Home Depot props so far this year.
I think your right about the 2024 line having issues. If i do get one of these i think it will be for next year Halloween when they fix the issues of this years line. Great info on this vid👍
@@flex_007 thank you! Yes, I agree with you! The only problem is we never know what’s going to be re-released. It looks great even as a static prop but for the cost, it should be working with no problems! Get one if you can! I appreciate you for checking out the video!
That should be an easy fix.sounds like something is rubbing or catching.

@@myhalloweenworld1671 yeah I had some other issues with it. I love it but ended up selling it for retail. I did get a replacement head so the new owner says it’s working fine now. I just didn’t want to keep bothering with it but he is definitely an amazing looking prop!
I didn't know about this problem. I only saw a post about the arm bracket breaking. I don't know why they bothered animating the head in the first place, because it seems to barely move in the videos I've seen. They should have animated the front legs. Still, it's an awesome looking prop.
@@willieloomis5958 I agree! It can be a great static prop but for the price, it’s got to work for me or it’s going back. 😂 I’ll do a follow up video once they send me the new head.
I believe that's a "split or loose" gear in the skull. I had the same problem with my 3ft bobblehead butler. Works fine now, though 😅
@@JaxMax-p9z I opened up the skull and looked inside. Nothing seemed to be the problem but I’m not sure. I’m hoping the replacement will be better!

dude...its not a life devastating event... Turn the audio off/down. If its still makes that noise, jus return the head.. if they don't play ball, jus replace the servo. They're cheapo 6-9v servos. any one will do... You should expect this from time to time with these mass produced Chinese things. They're made cheap to sell as cheap as they can... If yall want quality, make it yourself or fork out the $$ to reputable prop building houses...there's plenty of them
@@alchemist7474 it’s all good. I got a replacement head and sold it for retail. Decided to go a different route. The main issue I have had is 8 out of the 10 animatronics I got this year from Home Depot all had issues and needed replacement parts. Definitely thinking about going professional next year and give these up. Might give it one more chance though we will see.

Just a simple mine today. My control box has no volume. My trickster trio one of the mouth stopped working after five triggers. My Chucky's eyes are messed up.. My plague doctor sensor does not work.. I rarely have any problems with my Home Depot stuff, but this is four things this year that I broke. That's a really bad track record. I got a lot of crap. I got a box up and take back.
@@Frightman yeah man I feel you! I just posted another failed video! So I’m on my third one that’s has problems. I just posted my issues with my 12 foot reaper. I don’t think I’m going to get initial drops anymore. I’ll wait till they hit the store and try my luck. I feel like these were rushed to go out with little quality control.
@@ViewsFromTheCrypt-lm2kz You are repeating what I just post on a forum. I stayed up checking all night to get what feels like a lot of hald backed stuff. You Dullahn skeleton lights up red real nice. Did not know that was supposed to happen until I saw yours. The reaper is in my garage waiting. I will check out the issues you had with it. I feel like I want to take back everything and repurchase later on a second run. :)

Is there a lights only option??
@@markhammett5072 yes there is. Since mine is defective, that’s the only way I can use mine for now. I’m hoping I can find another in store to exchange him.
