- Rajkot is a industrial town of Gujarat plus foodie's destination. Following are the activities we did in Rajkot in a day.

1. Introduction at Kotecha chowk., i stayed at KK hotel near Kotecha chowk only, after 20% discount i paid rs 2240 as room tariff which included breakfast.
2. Joker Gathiya - We enjoyed Gathiya and jalebi in breakfast
3. Tea shop - This shop is opp. Swami Narayan temple, we enjoyed tea at this shop.
4. Alfred High school - we went to this place, now converted into museum but since it was monday, so we could not visit it from inside.
5. Kaba Gandhi no Delo - This is ancestral house of Mahatma Gandhi ji, now converted into museum.
6. Lunch at TGT - The Grand Thakkar is a famous restaurant, they are famous for their kathiyawadi thali, which has 2 punjabi dishes as well.Price of the Thali at this shop is Rs 250 per person.
7.Market visit: We visited two market posts lunch - Gundawadi market and another market which was 2 km from here.
8. Ishwar Ghugra - This is a famous shop for evening snacks.
9. Rasikbhai Chevadawala - This shop is famous for its farsan and chutney www.rcfood.in/
10. Amra - i went there to buy a shirt for myself, i could not find half sleeve shirt there, so ended up buying saree for wife for rs 2500, this store is opp. Race course in Rajkot.
12. Ravi chapdi - This is a cart that sells chapdi post 7 pm, price is rs 100 for unlimited chapdi and undhiyu. I learnt that people prefer to eat this in dinner time.
13. Outro at KK hotel - We did night stay at KK hotel , Kotecha chowk, they charged us Rs 2200 room tariff which is after discount of 20 percent.

I was in kewadia to visit statue of Unity... I think I was in narmada a day before visiting kewadia... 3 things i observed there...
1.Cleanliness of city
2.people blow horn only when require, no more sound n panic.

I am from Karnataka. In engineering hostel life there was an unwritten rule. If you are hungry, studying late-night, one room where you can always find something tastey to eat was - a Gujarati friends room 😂.

@Tanmay Sinha This is the biggest concern of these travel videos done in Pandemic. This gives false hope and people might put down their guard which they kept from one year. This could be one of the reason for current surge in pandemic situation as these travel videos gave false impression of normalcy. I too am a biggest fan of Bali ji's travel & food videos but I felt being a large follower base, their act should be more responsible.

What i love about Gujrat,Rajasthan and South India is that they have lovely hospitality while serving food .......price don't matter.....it matter the person who they are serving is satisfied....I have never heard words like ek main do nahi.....2 se 4 Dukan bandh.....charges for extra rassa .....kande ka extra charge lagega ya extra chutney nahi milegi

Vanela Ganthiya, sada gandhiya, jalebi, thepla, Dhokla, Khaman, khandvi, Patra, Samosa, Kachori, winter me undhiyu, Umbadiyu, Mohanthal, sutarfeni, galefa, Ghughra, Halvasan, Aladiyapak, salampak, Toprapak, shrikhand, Amul, Vadilal ya Havmore ke icecreams, Papdi, Chavanu, tamtam, idda, Bhakharwadi, kitne tarah ki sev aur Namkeen aur bhi pata nahi kya kya veg snacks and local sweets hai baki jo sab jagah milta hai wo variety to hai hi.

This is a very good series. I am also impressed by the locals who showed you the Saurashtra region. PS: The people of Saurashtra are very lucky people as they live in a area where Bhagwan Shree Krishna came to reside in. So it is the land of Shree Krishna. Also it is the region which has two Jotirlings as well. Other than that there is Shaktipeeth located in Junagadh. Gir Lions, awesome Vegetarian food and lovely people is worth visiting.
