YEP!!!!!!!! WHAT A GREAT MAN!!!!!!!!! He will live forever in my mind!!! Never met him, and yet I miss him everyday, like a brother/son / friend!! Stevie Ray Vaughn and Scott Weiland and Mr. Nicky Hayden are 3 people I miss every day!!! We do have videos of them, their talent, and their kindness!!!! To all reading, ride hard, ride well, be safe, take care of others!!! and have fun!!! cheers to all good people
I was at Laguna Seca in 2006 when he won that race and went on to win the championship that year. The Honda 990 RC211V he rode that year is still the greatest MotoGP bike ever made. The V-5 engine was the most amazing sound I've ever heard. I went back to Laguna in 2007 when Honda tried to cram Nicky on that 800 they made for Pedrosa. Nicky got a good start but he and Hoppy hit each other in the first turn and Stoner ran away with it.
MAN NEVER IN MY SPORTING FAN LIFE DID I WANT TO SEE 2 THINGS WORK OUT MORE THAN THOSE 2, HIM & THE DUCATI, WHAT A CRAP BIKE THAT WAS BACK THEM. oH yeah 7 PS. thank you nicky for giving me the most thrilling year in sports for me 2006 I was screaming all year at the tv for you man! & I am an LA Kings fan 45 years when they won the cup but 2006 was an amazing memory. Bought my Tissot that year the 1st year you signed with them & I always wear that watch! The same year you won it all!
Nicky Hayden finished the season with the most points. That made him MotoGP World Champion. Nicky won and he deserved that championship. To say that he did not deserve that championship is just sour grapes . Very disrespectful and wrong.
