- In this video we head out for our second weekend away in the van. This time we decided to spend a couple of night at Rock Point Provincial Park. In this vlog we bring you along as we drive to the park and check in for the night. We made a couple of tweaks to the van since our first weekend away and were excited to test them out!
Rock Point Provincial Park is found on the north shore of Lake Erie in southern Ontario. Something we found a bit interesting is that the park is located beside the mouth of the Grand River (where the Grand River opens into Lake Erie)!
We were super impressed with the campsites. Our campsite was grassy with lots of tree coverage. The site itself was well maintained and had quite a bit of privacy! There was one picnic table and of course the fire pit.

While camping, did you guys suffer from smoke of the Northern Ontario forest fires wafting down to Southern Ontario? There were some bad air quality alerts for the past few days. Maybe you didn't notice because of your own campfire!
Good idea with the wind deflectors for the windows and good job Tia with the sunshades as window screen!
It's not something we noticed. Truth be told, it's not even something we thought about!

I noticed the smog from the forest fires at home here in Niagara... but, of course, we did not have a campfire going! There were warnings on a weather app, though.

It's... About the same? If you're using propane with the camper version, maybe try isobutane. Apparently that one works better with isobutane
