Here is an arrangement I have been wanting to present on this channel for a long time! The main theme of the original Diablo game, released in 1997. One of my favorite musical pieces ever, but was a pretty complicated one to transcribe for piano! Since the original instrumentation includes two twelve-string guitars and a lot of electronic effects, I had to be imaginative in the way I would place the notes on the piano! Hope you enjoy it! It's a music I never paid too much attention to in game. But as a piano score, I realise how incredibly non repetitive and complex it is. And also how original the style is. I don't even know an other song with a similar vibe.
I usually go to toilet with my mobile phone and watch video on youtube. When I clicked on this video for the first time and started listening I specially left the toilet and went to my room because I felt ashamed to losten to this masterpiece in the toilet... thank you man. This is outstanding work
This brought tears to my eyes, as I sit here drinking my coffee at work... your performance reminded me of my childhood, visiting my grandma and listening to her play the piano, mixed with another childhood memory of late nights having Diablo up and just standing in Tristram listening to the music and drawing to the monitors light. you did a really good job of capturing the delay effect from the guitar on the original. that's not easy to fake but you did it justice. Top notch cover dude.
This is... quite amazing. My ear can't always tell what the chord is supposed to be but I can always tell when the chord is _wrong._ Did not hear any wrong chords in this rendition. Bravo!!
Played Diablo for the first time in a computer store in Singapore around the time it came out. They had it on to demo the PCs. I never even got out of Tristram but this song was burned into my brain!

Holy hell, that's impressive! I guess you don't need 5 hands and 4 tentacles to play this after all :p Just a quirky mind and a lot of perseverance and creativity. I'm not sure what I am impressed more with, that you put this to notes you can play, that you played this, or that you've captured the atmosphere so well with just one instrument. Jaw dropping.
played this on my piano with a steel guitar vst + another different steel guitar from my pc at the same time and it sounded absolutely freaking spot-on like the original. awesome.
Holy cow at 1:23 you're like one of a couple I've seen that actually play that part correctly where it goes lower instead of playing it the same as the previous bit. (sorry I don't know the musical terminology for it, but the lower end)
