I just found this particular channel and I'm hooked.
The quizzes are very fun to watch.
Welcome!
@@GeeButtersnaps I actually meant the jeopardy game lol. I've been watching the blokes for some time. :)
@@CP81 Ahh I get what your saying now. Flew right over my head *whoosh* 😂
The look of childish glee on max’s face when that teeny bopper song came up (titanium) 😂
When you guys said you never heard of 38 Special I looked it up I don't think even charted in the UK. Wow, in the US they were really big. Singer is the brother of the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd and had a bunch of hits over here. Just shows how hard it must be for you guys to do quizzes clearly made in the US for music. Was surprised you didn't know "In Your Room" by the Bangles so I looked it up, only hit number 35 in the UK (not very big at all), but was a big hit here, hitting number 5.
I play this every Friday night! Lots of fun!
These are some of my favorite music quizzes, usually can get a fair amount correct, don't always know all of the songs on these quizzes, but enough to make it fun.
38 special did Hold on Loosely.
How can they not know 38 special?! Especially mike
3600 for me. It's crazy that I remembered that Megadeth song from a video game in the 00s lol.
Calling staind nickelback is disgraceful lol
I thought it was Creed. ^^ But calling it nickelback hurt me a little.
@nietzscheente1271 staind is way better than nickelback and creed imo
@@e-reptiledysfunction2243 Sure. But staind and creed are sounding closer than nickelback. ^^
Potato, potato. Puddle of HubaCreed, Nickelstaind, meh.
@@e-reptiledysfunction2243creed and staind are legit
38 Special, one of my dads favorite bands. You may know 'Caught Up In You' their biggest hit, great great tune. 100% confident Daz and Mike would know the chorus let me know if you do.
And Hold On Loosely.
I think JA/Starship was in competition with John Cougar/John Cougar Mellencamp/John Mellencamp for name changes. Then Prince showed up and said ‘watch this shit!’ [unpronounceable symbol]
Forgot Johnny Cougar
Top quiz content as always, blokes.
But you didn't understand the jeopardy concept, right? You have to answer with a question. :-)
But it was tuff enough to know these songs. Some very interesting picks.
P.s.: It hurts my heart a little bit you don't know Megadeth. 4:21 One of the most famous thrash metal bands of all time. ^^
8:27 I said the same thing as Max 😂
Copperhead road is a good song, surprised none of u have ever heard of it
By Andy Cooks 5 hot dogs from basic to gourmet | Level up your party food
Very difficult
My score : -$18,200
Max, Jefferson StarShip was the remake of the mid 60's-early 70's band, Jefferson Airplane (sang popular song "White Rabbit"), and after Jefferson Starship, it became just Starship.. but Jefferson StarShip sang the worst 80's song ever, "We built this city".... 38 special song you should know is: "hold on Loosely" The Bangles one was such a horrible last question pick..
Grace Slick is an absolute queen. She wrote and sang White Rabbit on acid and killed it at Woodstock. Absolute hippie queen - her, Janis Joplin and Mariska Veres from Shocking Blue
Hi everyone
Yinz need to add an American to the mix to get those bands/songs. And to your who is Jefferson Starship and 38 Special we would say, who the F is David Guetta and Robbie Williams? So it would be a winning mix.
I'm an American who knows David Guetta and Robbie Williams, but would not have gotten Jefferson Starship or 38 special. Think it may be more of an age thing 😂
@@emobx02 Possibly, but you and I both are samples of n=1. But if I had to bet, I would bet that many (many) more in this country know who Jefferson Starship was or .38 Special, than know who David Guetta is. Separately, God Almighty, these guys did not recognize Life in the Fast Lane by the Eagles--and even though that song is 45 years old, most people likely recognize it. Brits have a little bit different knowledge than we do and a mix would be a winner on this kind of thing. But fair point, anyway.
@ Yeah, while I agree with your overall point, I'm not sure David Guetta is the best artist to use to prove that point. Most Americans under 35 know David Guetta (whether they want to or not, I'm certainly not a fan haha). He was all over the big party songs from around 09-18. That song in the video, Titanium, was inescapable for me in high school/college. It was like a pavlovian response as soon as I heard it playing 😂
I know who Jefferson Starship, 38 Special, and Robbie Williams are, but not David Guetta and yes, I am a American (66 years old! lol)
@@emobx02 My son (23 yrs old) told me that he is a DJ. So he is not a musician but some other kind of artist (for raves, etc., I would guess). In any case, yes I am older and I don't get it, but from what I have heard (limited, I admit), I would rather have someone stick a needle in my eye that have to listen to that particular genre. (BTW, there were plenty of those kinds of things when I was growing up, e.g., disco music, just dreadful). Anyway, the age thing is definitely a fair point as I don't know virtually anything that comes out now (can't take the digitized, autotuned droning stuff) but would kick a@@ on much of the 60s, 70s, some 80s and 90s, but am left in the dust for much that came after that. Cheers.
6600.
Congrats on your other blow-up video, Blokes! I did like a quadruple take at the numbers! The algorithm launched that one through the roof.
Not that my opinion matters, but the irony is it’s to a channel I hate. Beware, WATop has an excessively high error rate in his facts, which makes it hard to enjoy the content itself. I can’t stand his voice, and the whole black mask dark web hacker/mass killer look is so stupid. So is his poodle piss coffee intro.
Great concept for a game, but letting the user pick the clues and having a simple profit counter would have been so easy to code in its development.
