Saleh genuinely just seemed annoyed about it. Same damn things that happened in Green Bay. Coaches, GM, teammates always getting blamed for everything when he's the one bringing the drama. If he knew this was a trip he was making, why not announce it ahead of time and explain himself so other people don't have to explain it for him? I think its the fact that he came to the jets to try to help them boost their organization, and hes really just been disappointing. Cant help the injury, but telling fans he'd be back at the end of the year, telling everyone hes locked in and all the drama needs to leave the building while simultaneously adding to it is just not what you want from a senior leader on your team. @@MountainTop750 I’ve been a fan since Majik man. I was happy Donald retired as a Packer…would have loved for others to have that recognition, like AJ, Matthew, Brett (his first retirement, not the second one after going to the Jets and Vikings), Aaron, Jordy, Kuhn. We need to have also a better strategy…the last 6 years it has felt that we just were aiming to get to the playoffs and have a consistent record, but never felt we were going all in. Rodgers should have at least have 3 rings with us. We were so close and some of the loses against the 9ers were painful, like the one where they didn’t even want Gerappolo to throw the ball because he was that bad…but they killed us with the run…or the two seasons where we had an abismal special teams…I had to go into prayer each time we tried a FG or PA. Jets have won 20 games in the last 4 seasons combined. Yep the best year is 7-10 and they average 5 wins a year.
Yes, Tom Brady skipped mandatory minicamp, but it was for family reasons, I believe, but more importantly, he's won seven titles. He's the GOAT. Aaron Rodgers is an overrated lump.
My boss loves it when i don't work for personal reasons.
I don’t understand why this is a big deal. Y’all never had a 20 year coworker/boss just call out sick to go fishin?
Not ones making 50mil a year….
It's overblown, but he's the only player to do it not for contract reasons in years. Dude is just on vacation, selfish af.
Bosses don’t call in lol that’s why they’re the boss.
He's not even faking being sick or hurt
Its when people start treatin Rodgers like this he comes back with an MVP season
Aaron looks for the aliens on the moon
Aaron's just giving it a little extra time in case he gets piss tested
McAfee is painting the guy that didn’t show up as the victim. Comparing what Saleh said about Reddick is next level glazing.
Lol welcome to the Aaron Rodgers show go pack go!
Rogers can do it as he likes. The Jets can’t win without him for sure. He will be prepared come season start.
Greeney: "the jets just need a button that they can push that gets them to the start of the season". Don't we all, Greeney. Don't we all.
I'm a 49er fan. I can't WAIT to get to the opportunity to kick Aaron Rodgers' ass.
AJ is a TRUE Friend and that is PRICELESS!
Greene and pat trying to save face for Rodgers lol. I can only imagine if this was any other QB what their response would be for them
Why are they flying an Ukraine flag??? ()’s
I know people hate Aaron Rodger’s but why does everyone keep saying that he is selfish/narcissistic/diva etc..? Just because he isn’t at mandatory mini camp? I don’t get it.
Good question 🤔
I think its the fact that he came to the jets to try to help them boost their organization, and hes really just been disappointing. Cant help the injury, but telling fans he'd be back at the end of the year, telling everyone hes locked in and all the drama needs to leave the building while simultaneously adding to it is just not what you want from a senior leader on your team. Especially one who is in year 2 and has played 4 snaps for your organization and hasn't earned the rights within the jets to be acting like this when hes done nothing. Yes its a vacation he reported, but its literally 2 days of mini camp and he could extend his vacation after. Its not like he cant afford the change fees. Dude could be anywhere in the world and chose not to spend it with his team.
Man stop making excuses for AR he simply is drama queen. Dude is weird!
Maybe I’m a missing something but can’t it be possible that his absence is both okay with the team but unexcused?
I agree. I kinda felt like Saleh’s comments were as close to avoiding favoritism as possible. They’re trying to build a culture and you don’t build a solid one by letting your star QB appear to do whatever without the normal penalty. Especially with Haason Reddick also being away and getting fined. Honestly, if he wasnt being fined ppl would be more pissed
You open yourself up for HR lawsuits if you don't punish equally
Have we checked under RFK’s desk yet? Just sayin.
Isnt he the guy that said the Jets have to get the BS out of the building and play football?
And, who created the BS???
I think that the Jets should get Salah out of the building, pronto.
Or yall just chill and watch the upcoming season and be distracted.
“We know that you know. And the people watching know that I know that you know. So they know that whenever I say stuff that you know, we’re all looking for you to confirm whether or not what we know is right. Right? And you guys know that.” 😂😂
I love how whenever ty asks a question he basically answers it himself before letting the guy answer it
Why the Ukraine flag in the background?!
Supporting good versus evil. Where have you been? Oh, Fox. Ok.
@@markb3786did you also fall for Covid?
Enjoy Jets! This is the drama we (Packers fans) do not miss at all. My blood pressure is back to normal during the offseason.
Rodgers is fine, the media is doing what they have always done.
I’ve been a packer fan my whole life and I’m still cheering for the guy.
We have a bigger problem with switching Jones for Jacob’s.
This is going to make Gutty look really bad. He is already embarrassing the team with that whole don’t where green in Brazil. He is going to embarrass the team before week 5
@@MountainTop750 don’t get me wrong. I appreciate what he did and gave to the team. I have his jersey, autograph pic, funko pop…etc. but the last three years the drama got thicker as time went by. That is the part I don’t miss.
@@Silverpup67I agree with that, but it wasn’t just his fault. The management played there part in it too. Not giving him head up on the Love pick, not working with him on keeping receivers, but it’s all done now. He definitely play a part in it as well. I followed it all…..
I just hope we can keep getting to the playoffs. I really hope Josh is good enough that it won’t matter when he goes off the reservation on Twitter (X)
Cuz it will happen.
I’m curious of your take on how we get rid of players… I’m not sure how long you’ve been watching but Driver is the last Packer who got to go out as a Packer. Do you feel like we could treat our players better???
especially the vets with time in, I think we suck at giving players the respect they deserve at the end of their career and I hate to say this but if we had an owner I think that would be different.
Just wondering what you think about it…
Cheers buddy 🥂
@@MountainTop750 I’ve been a fan since Majik man. You are right, we’ve been in a trend of not honoring our players in their last years and we’ve traded them or forced them to retire (because of bad trades).
This group looks tough and young. It still stings a lot that we let Jones go, and more so that he went to the Vikings.
Good one less team to worry about this season
Aaron never misses a chance to shift focus to himself, it’s actually absurd lol respect to him as a player but he’s the biggest “look at me” guy in the league rn
