After giving Lucifer V a deep listen, this is hands down my favorite track! I'm a licensed embalmer and I play Lucifer while I embalm, dress, cosmetize and casket the dearly departed. I selfishly pray to La Santa Muerte that I'm your only mortician fan so that I'm the only one out there falling to my knees in the mortuary! The dead and I love you Lucifer, thank you!!!
This is absolutely one of my favorite songs ever from Lucifer yet. I love it. The video movie is awesome too. The guitar riffs, the drumming, the whole band is playing spectacularly awesome and very dark, and Johanna's incredibly emotional and catchy, truly unbelievably, good vocals in this song are just so beautifully bewitching. The video acting is cool too. It reminds me of Night Of The Living Dead. Truly spectacular song. One of my new favorites. I also have to say that the production sounds really good, even better than the last album.

@@BillGunslinger Never heard of a synaeresis before, but I appreciate your knowledge. Regardless, artists are free to bend rules when they create, even those of grammar. That doesn't mean it's always a good idea to do so, or that it will always work. In this situation, I think it's a bad idea. They could have easily incorporated the four-syllable correct pronunciation but did not. It's hard to make a catchy single when the key word in the song title and chorus is mispronounced by the singer. A bigger issue is that this band keeps essentially writing the same song over and over again. They're very talented, and I am a fan, but it's hard to get excited about new music when it is so similar to every previous release.

Now, about the band being repetitive, I don't think we can expect anything different from them. Their sound taps into a retro niche, so there's a lot of risk if they try to change it, that they'll lose their core demographic. Although I would like to see them try and experiment different things. Each Black Sabbath album was very different and really unique. But that's what separates the good bands from the great and legendary bands.
