I actually unclip the chair from the hanging rope when I'm not going to use it and bring it inside. I want it to stay in as good of shape as possible and not be nasty when I get in it. So, it's held up well, but if you're going to leave it outside, it's probably going to want to be run through the washing machine every once in a while!

Do you need a ladder to clip the removed set back on? I was actually thinking how quickly it could get worn in the sun, rain and wind here in TX!
