Thunders are a good alternative/temporary weapons to use on a fast robot, they deal high dmg up close and they are dirt cheap to upgrade. I still use lvl 9 thunders on my orochi because i dont have anything good to put on it yet
Unfortunately in the lower leagues there's not too many fast robots lol they're all pretty darn slow or at least all the ones I've played, but you can't beat them for a starter weapon as long as you can get close range but they're definitely something you want to replace when you get something a little better

The main reason I don't think it ever will is it's designed to be a starter robot for brand new players, it's probably one of the first good robots that you can get and get easily. So they're probably not going to buff this one but maybe one day they'll make like an ultimate version or something but it is designed for starting out, I guess you can't have the starting robots too good lol
I developed a so called passive strategy. And this strategy suggest that you play normaly, and quit before hitting pilots. After that it is very simple. We log in every day, collect 100 keys (or 300, I don't remeber I was doing this two years ago and dropped baby account) open middle chest until we get enough magnums, tarans, Lancelot. Then we go to chest for a thousand keys. Get some tier 4 bots and after that we continue playing. It took me year to get a somewhat decent hangar before I decided to return to my mk2 stuff, but plan worked. Takes tons of patience, so not for everyone
So it sounds like there's a lot of time where you're not actually playing just kind of logging on to collect stuff, the fun parts playing though, at least for me

I LOVE the LEO for sure !!! LOL I used it until I got an ANGLER ....... I used it a LONG time. It's a cheap bot that allows you to be creative with weapon choices !
They should put out a decent pilot for it. Or at least put out an 'ultimate' version. With 3 passive module slots.
Yeah I used mine in champion League for a while eventually it got a little bit updated and I had to take it out of there but it was a good deal for quite some time, still a nice starter bot
Sir danny lighting you must understand now The next update it will release a drone the solar one and the perfect build along with it is the volt dagon mainly because since volt weapons have long ranges it will pass by the defense and deal 20% more damage with it getting another shield on top of that.
It will become a good build since the only thing it seems like that can get passed its shields are (shieldbreak and titans (maybe.)
Basically the new drone is going to benefit anything that has weapons that can shoot over 700 m so if you're 700 m away or further the new drone is going to give you all kind of benefits but if you're closer than 700 m it's not going to give you most of the benefits so you definitely have to be shooting people from a long distance in order for that drone to be good so it's really a drone design specifically for snipers

I've never really been a fan of the Natasha, I'll have to get one of those and try it out on the lower legs but I would probably set it up the exact same way, I'm not sure if the thunders still suit him or not but I used to play that in the lower legs but that's one of those robots I I quit playing pretty quickly once I got something else to replace it

Up close they actually do a lot of damage if you level them up enough but of course they have a spread so they do less damage from a distance but at high level they will beat some people up, I just don't love a 10 second reload time when you're used to like a four or a 5 second reload but if you can get used to the 10 second reload they're really good weapons overall, I'm in there's definitely better weapons in the game but for the purchase and upgrade cost you don't have to put too much into them and they will do the job until you can find something better

Is zeus a good one for Leo if u have it around. And I'm also running two thunders on natasha is that bad😅
Here's the problem with the Zeus is it's probably going to suck in champion League unless you're running maybe four of them and you don't hit somebody's shield, which blocks the shot completely but once you move up into the higher leagues you're not really going to see anybody running the Zeus anymore, it's a cool weapon and it's a fun weapon but it's not really going to get you where you need to go once you start moving up in leagues so it's not something I would really put too many resources into, the other day I think I was playing a crisis with four of those and that was pretty cool but that's about the only robot I would probably play those on because he has a builted shield breaker does extra damage and can hold four of them but I wouldn't really run that on the Leo personally
This gameplay, that too on one of the oldest WR maps, makes it feel nostalgic to watch.
It's really fun playing these little accounts until you run into the guy who bought something, My Waylon with the redeemers is a beast so normally I only try and bring that out either at the end or when there's a couple of people running around with high powered weapons but I really do wish they would make a limit on what you could have in certain leagues so I think it can kind of discourage newer players when they're going up against somebody who spent a few dollars I mean maybe in like gold league or expert you should be able to start buying that stuff I don't know but in silver I think you should still be limited to like basic stuff but that's just my opinion

If only they buff the Leo make it a little bit more faster and put more modules on it it is master league Worthy robot
Leo's designed to be a basic starter robot so I don't really expect to see it get a buff anytime soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if they make an ultimate version that has the module slots in moves faster and whatnot but it's a very good starter robot and it's easy to get and if you play it well it'll definitely do good

You're actually seeing people with only 150 wins, that's insane, those people should still be down in the lower leagues you would think
Since Gold is not that much worth anymore i would recommend to buy mostly plasma weapons so redeemer, tarans and magnums (not more then 6) to beginners now…
Sure, punisher are cheaper but you get so fast gold and other weapons that it’s not worth anymore to level up more then 4 punisher and 4 punisher t and that in max to level 6, everything more then that is just a waste…
At least Taran and magnum are also pretty cheap to level up and they even work in champion (magnum only with Otto pilot in higher leagues) so it’s really more worth to invest in those instead just a single level in a thunder or punisher/punisher t over level 6…
As starter beacon runner is still the Gerath the king of all till you can get an endlevel runner like Loki, Raven (only with Vanessa pilot usefull), Orochi, Lynx or Skyros…
Just level it to level 7-9, put a slightly leveled ecu on the light slot and an Taran or punisher t on the mid slot and this can carry you till around expert/master without bigger issues…
Sure nothing fancy but it works pretty long till more and more explosive weapons will show up and this really take some time till those show up and so long the Gerath is great and dirty cheap…
You can later even tune it a little bit up with a drone wich gives more speed or a pilot with speed skills and of cuz with a better weapon, cuz it has just one mid slot you use it’s easy to get a more effective weapon for it like a flame thrower, sonic weapon or maybe even a Harpune weapons which gives also an aegis on top (even more important on this setup then a damage boost…
In the moment you have open all 5 hangar slots it’s not that much important how much damage the runner do, just use it as sacrificial beacon runner, just take 2 or 3 beacons and then directly into another bot that do damage…
And currently the overall gameknowledge shrunk more and more so for a free to play player it’s a very good Idee to put at least 2 beacon runner in the hangar maybe even 3…
Just a year ago this was for sure not necessary but now the majority of players didn’t run for beacons anymore but still everybody just play beacon run, with that mix I mostly now need more often a third runner then just a single beacon holder tank like fenrir…
In most games now my Fenrir is the last bot what couldn’t do anything without die in seconds…
That’s sadly the only way to win games anymore especially when you are against teams with multiple shenlou that even grills a Skyros in ball form in just seconds and not even an whole clip, in those games you can just win with beacons as f2p player and then is any beacon runner better then a beacon keeper cuz as f2p you can’t build really strong tanks without leveling very high and (not or) have enough equipment, so exactly those things a free player can’t do in any form…
So on my f2p account i will now exchange my fenrir to an Loki (allready running a Skyros and a Raven) cuz I didn’t use the fenrir anymore in something around 80-90% of all matches I make and the account is allready in master 1 with mostly just mk1 level 7 hangar…
A third runner is currently the only way the account could go cuz when I see the results mostly the player just capture 2 or less beacons and with that you can’t win games even if my 2 runner already take something around 5-10 beacons regularly…
Good tips except for the fact that Magnums are very weak in the higher leagues I mean if you try and play Magnums and champion league you'll probably take him right back off your robot after one or two games, I would much rather play the punishers cuz they at least do pretty good damage at close range I mean the Magnums don't have a reload but they're pretty weak
@@Danny-Lightning-WR yeah they are maybe not that strong naked, but you can still build some powerful setups with this with bots like Dagon or Angler and the Otto pilot…
With 2 nuc amps the charge speed is crazy and when you are charged even the magnums make a good amount of damage…
So it’s not a waste at all at least when you don’t level up more then 6 of them, don’t take me wrong, I say not that you should level up 5 plasma Leo’s but one of them and then maybe a Loki with 3 more or a griffin (later raven) with two of them and 2 tarans, that are setups that can carry up all the way till expert and master at least and with the right builds even higher…
So instead that you have in the end 10 punisher plus 6 punisher t leveled up useless in your inventory I would bring more variation into the hangar and a mix of plasma and physical weapons (punisher and co) is the best choice as f2p cuz it’s way better in the lategame…

Or instead of investing in pilots and skins, save it for an avenger
The thing about the avenger weapon is it's great in the lower legs but once you move up at the champion even when it's maxed out it's not going to be anybody's first choice, I would honestly redder run a punisher tea than an avenger, those cost gold and having a much higher upgrade cost than the thunder so like I'm saying I would make sure when you replace the thunder you replace it with something that's going to be good in the higher leagues until then I would just use the thunder just because it's decent and cheap

If something exists and you don't tell people about it nobody's going to know I mean companies spend tens of $1,000 or more to make TV commercials to let you know about their product or their business, if they didn't that business would probably fail because nobody would know what existed right it's just basic advertising. Between my three TH-cam channels I probably spend 12 to 15 hours a day working on them and make two to three bucks an hour so if an extra $2 or $10 rolls in a couple times a week that definitely helps out but if I didn't mention it nobody would even know it was there and it sucks to put in all those hours to make next to nothing so it's a lot of work to try and bring you guys good videos
