    Eduardo has been a Rocket Man for several years. Rocket has helped me learn several new languages. The Rocket Japanese sounds like another great language learning program. The grammar, writing and culture lessons are essential. Thanks TPI!

    I've always been fascinated by Japanese culture, from its rich history and traditions to its innovative technology and media. Learning Japanese would open the door to deeper connections and understanding, allowing me to experience the culture firsthand. Whether it's exploring Japan, reading manga in its original language, watching anime without reading subtitles, or even expanding career opportunities in a globalized world, mastering Japanese is a key to a new world of possibilities. This course seems like the perfect tool to make that dream a reality!

    I think Japanese apps are extremely good but I believe that using Genki and watching videos that go through the textbooks helps me more with the language because unlike other languages such as French, it has different characters and multiple alphabets. None the less I think if you are learning Japanese with an app this would probably be my top pick.

    I want to learn Japanese because I always liked their culture. In my young years I used to watch a lot of anime and some of it marked my life. I still listen to some songs from animes that are maybe older than most viewers of this channel.
    I found about Rocket Japanese after searching for other alternatives to JapanesePod101, duolingo and busuu and it picked my interest. I have the Pimsleur Japanese in audio, all five levels and I like them; but they lack the features of the new subscription based model and even that one doesn't seem to cover the language as good as Rocket.
    Thank you for reviewing Rocket Japanese. Keep up the good work 👏

    I like listening to your reviews and I think you're very right about learning Japanese on Rocket. It seems like Rocket would give the best intensive instruction even though the lessons are longer than some other programs. Japanese is so artistic in the written form and looks like art instruction or backgrounds might be helpful too in learning to write in Japanese.

    I recently started learning Japanese from Rocket Japanese app and its pretty good the Audio especially provides a lot of verbal practice. Well I'm a pretty much beginner and I hope to complete this course and then start buying some books for Kanji text. Thanks for the review, Arigatō Gozaimashita.

    Thanks so much for this review! I lived in Japan for most of the 90s but have only recently attempted to coax the dormant 日本語 out of my brain and through my mouth. So, I'm evaluating the different study options available ... options that were NOT available in 1991! Thanks again!

    That was an excellent overview... really persuaded me to have a deeper look to see whether it fits my learning style. Cheers. To answer the question: I have friends interested in Japanese music, and I'd love to be able to work through the lyrics as written. It helps that my sister-in-law is also Japanese!

    I've been looking to learn a new language for a while and I only ever really knew about Rosetta Stone, probably because it's one of the more heavily marketed programs. It's nice to see your reviews and see all the different apps/programs out there that I never knew existed, if you're going to drop a lot of money on a language program you want to make sure your spending your money wisely. I appreciate your videos and what you guys do.

    I am commercial driver in EU and next year i will be going on working holiday visa to japan for a year. Is rocket japanese something you can play on your speakers and study repeating for long hours of driving? Does it require internet connection ?

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, Rocket is good for learning while driving, and so is Pimsleur. I would say that Pimsleur's setup is better for the car with streaming through the speakers (they have special driving mode), but you can make Rocket's work just fine. I have used both commuting.

    Thank you! for your review! I am trying the trial :) I passed already that phase of knowing basic words, some phrases and greetings so looking forward to learn more for small conversations for general use while traveling! I loved Japan when traveled back in Oct 2022 for the first time and coming back in 2024! This time I want to be able to communicate a bit better/more fluid Japanese and less google translate/basis words aka Japan-glish lol.

    I want to learn Japanese because I'd really like to be able to understand the lyrics to all the awesome Japanese music that's out there! 😄
    I'm also a composer professionally, and many of the artists who have inspired me the most over the years are Japanese, so I'd love to be able to learn more about the culture that shaped the art they make. I definitely think knowing the language is necessary in order to open up the doors to that kind of knowledge/deeper cultural understanding.

      How long has Rocket Languages been around? Pimsleur was founded in 1963! 60 years ago. Amazing.

    Isn't there anything in the course about kanji? You won't be able to read Japanese without knowing several hundred.
