As a resident of Nottingham I decided to search for C & L E Attenborough & surprisingly I found they still exist, they're one of Europe's Largest Dental Laboratories apparently & they are still at Viscosa House in Nottingham as they were on that paperwork you found. We have a nature reserve & district called Attenborough so I'm guessing they were named after the Attenborough family. Thank you for filling in a gap in my local history knowledge. In the appointment book DNA probably meant Did Not Attend. The word you couldn't remember was chloroform.

I work in dentistry, and what’s scary is how little things have changed since the early 1900’s. The way we work and the equipment we use today, is almost identical to those you found!

I live in the US you might want to check Physicians Mutual for dental insurance or check select quote and they can give you quotes for dental insurance. If you are on Medicare then you would need to check into an advantage plus that covers vision dental hearing and prescriptions. Or check to see if there's a college or university that has a dental school and check with them it would be less because they are dental students and you would pay not too much. That's some of the options you could check into.

we’d use those back in the day tattooing to clean flux off needle clusters (now they’re already made and sterile online -lost art making tattoo needles by hand) and tubes and grips would go in the ultrasonic before drying packaging and sterilization. It’s not a sterilizer but part of the process

Wow what a find guys, such an interesting room filled with all the old fashioned dentistry! I still remember the school dentist at the primary school i attended in New Zealand. The dentist gave you a sticker of your choice on the back of your hand when your appointment was over!

This place is very unusual it's obvious it's been a lords or doctor house with the basement was a servants rooms and those bells a very nice place good guys love it xx

Those rolls of paper were wallpaper. Each roll had a printed edge and you had to cut it carefully off the length of each roll. My mum would make me re-roll each roll for her as she was cutting it. Tempers got frayed!

Had to watch this with the sound off, because my dog was scared of the chirping of the smoke alarm. She was in a fire once and now when she hears that it scares her to death! I will have to watch it again on my I pad with ear buds.

Great explore guys, really interesting stuff in there. Just as a bit of useless info gravesend got its name from the great plague when they run out of room to bury the dead from London they shipped them down the Thames to bury the bodies. That how gravesend got its mane. Love bear he’s really cute.

@@FINDERSBEEPERS the original burial site (mass grave) for London was Blackheath hence where it got it’s name from when it was full that’s when they started using gravesend. That’s why Blackheath has never been built on. Glad to know your interested. I used to live in the area and at school we did a study of local place names and where they derived. Hi guys the object you said looked like a light is correct, it’s a 20th century work lamp it’s a rare wonder of British engineering, you would hang the lamp in a car by the hook while working and fixing engine etc….selling on eBay for150.00 dollars it would have had an electric cable extension rotating to unwind, wind the electric cable but that looked to be missing, the tube thing is a Layman powder measuring device not sure how old but obviously looked 20th century sold on eBay for 135.00 dollars. Wow what great finds, it’s a shame these items especially the dental stuff should be in a museum instead they’re just lost and fading away they’re part of history I bet a dentist would love and treasure them. Great video as always love little bear he’s adorable. ❤️💋
