  • A Friday spent in DCA edited down to 30 minutes. Including interviews with Denis Frimpong and Shem Rock, as well as footage of Collie Mahon doing some 1-1s, kids classes and people of all ages doing a bit of sparring together.
The first but hopefully not the last visit to DCA. The vibe here is really great. And what Collie is doing is so important to the young people of the area.

Great bunch of lads. People train here at all levels, and I have never seen anyone being bullied.

I trained under these guys for a short while and I can honestly they treat people like shit. Between boxing, muay thai and jiu jitsu Iv trained in about 7 different gyms in total. I go out of my way to treat everyone with respect and have never had a problem with anyone anywhere Iv trained but these two are a different story. Among other deplorable behaviour I saw them deliberately hurt one of there own students for absolutely no reason That isnt what muay thai is about or even life itself. Not good people.

Your entitled to your opinion. Buy I disagree with your assessment. Maybe you had an attitude problem being from so many different gyms . I come form similar background and jus do straight with these guys and I never had a problem .

@@johnsheil4466 Well I had a similar experience with Ollie, the coach in the video when he coached at Lionheart years ago before DCA. He seemed to have very little patience for anyone except for the fighters. It's a great gym nonetheless, however I'd say for beginners, they should look elsewhere.
