This composition is a classic example that "Form is temporary but class is permanent". After first 10-12 years of a fabulous run, Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo hit few low patches in their career. Every time critics professed end of their era, but every time Laxmikant-Pyarelal came with a gem of a movie with gem of songs. Anjana was one such movie and this particular song can easily be rated one of the most beautiful duets of Hindi film songs. Hats off to LP. Anil and Neelima were really superb here. Good orchestra and the rhythm section was spot on!!
Shri Anil ji has been blessed with a golden voice which is very very close to Mohammed Rafi Saab.No other singer even Sonu Nigam will deliver 80 % of Anil ji
