check how the runleader device is set up... if it is for 2-stroke, 4 stroke, 1 or 2 cylinder engine, ...etc.. read the instructions of the runleader or any other similar device and you will find out that you need to choose the kind of engine you have installed the device on.

installation is simple just run the cable down to an wrap it around the sparkplug wire. Settings is in the instructions of the hour meter.

Stihl RM448 TX, manual says 2800 rpm, Runleader says 5500 rpm. How come?

Does this tachometer shows time during motor working? Or it shows time only when bike in stop?
