Hi Darlene, I'm a 100% beginner to art and your videos are a big help thank you. I feel the longer videos are more helpful to people at my level of experience, due to the amount of information/tips you are able to relay back to us. Short videos = less information! Just my opinion. Keep up the good work and thank you.

Either long or short … the fact that you show each and every step and explain why it is done that way. I also like that you tell what type of product you are using. Very informative.❤

You are an excellent teacher and for me a male, I prefer straight to the point instructions not too gabby like some do _ and you are superb, I find your videos very helpful and thank you for the time you provide. I personally don't mind either long or short, I guess it depends on the object your trying to draw such as the lips, I found that video very helpful. If possible I would sometimes like to see a reference photo you are trying to draw from. That's always helpful, but these are just fine. Again, thank you.

I’m indecisive. Your videos are informative for many of all ages. I like the quick videos when I do not have a lot of time to watch but on the weekends I like watching more in depth videos. Have you done a full face portrait before? I’d like to watch one of those.

Thanks so much for your valuable feedback, Deborah 😊 I have done a full face portrait tutorial on my website. It's not a video tutorial though. I have been really intimidated to do a video on that topic, but also excited too. If anyone else wants to see it, please like this comment, so I can gauge interest levels and bump it up in my to-do list. Thank you!!

@@RapidFireArt I'd be keen to see the full face one. I like the longer videos personally, if I am sitting down to sketch I will usually have apportioned plenty of time to it and it is nice to do this to the video as it feels like I am being guided through it in real time, like having a personal tutor almost (it is handy to have the time stamps too incase I need to go back or skip forward). You have taught me a lot about light and shading already in a short period of time and watching your channel has reignited my interest in drawing again, so for this I am sincerely grateful.

Darlene, I think most of us here are missing your presence on TH-cam. Your voice is so pleasant, and you're teaching style so descriptive and easy to comprehend. I can't believe the progress I've made by just following along with your exact instructions. Thank you so much. Please check back in with a new post so that everyone here knows you're doing ok.

Both video types, long and short, serve their purpose. I would like a video where, for example, you just draw 20 different noses, in just 2 or 3 poses. Just so we get a better feel for the differences the initial setup can make. Thanks.

This in depth tutorial helped me to overcome the fear of failure, gain the know how, to make beautiful art of my own.
Long format is great, for absolute beginners, like me, who need more detailed guidance, especially for portraits, the most difficult thing to do.
I would like to see her diversify her art, with animals, landscape, etc.

Awesome video and I like how simple you have made it while going at each section and the sequence of section are bang on adding into the drawing from start to finish alongside adding some tips as we go...
Also referring to model in the entire video, at each section, reminds us to keep up the basic construction at the back of our mind
    Great job 👍
