At this point the only problem is that I've had so many knife commissions that I can't afford the time to make videos about anything else, and I'm just sorta burnt out on knife videos at the moment. But the great news is, I've only got 1 more to make before I can get back to just doing fun stuff I love.

I agree, love anything Eli uploads and usually jump on it the second I get the notification. However, I didn't get a notification for this video and it's been two days and I just barely checked the channel cause I figured I'd go back to watch some old stuff, and just barely found this upload. I wonder if the algorithm isn't happy with our favorite guy that makes totally normal sized things.

those bubbles happen when you quench in oil and it comes from the oil moving around a lot differently than water. the surface of the metal, if quenched at a good heat, is almost melting and is extremely malleable and moves around with the oil. it literally pushes the surface around and makes that cool pattern which could be desirable if consistent and present throughout. at least, that's my opinion on it, if you don't like the spots, you don't have to keep them.
