    Such an important question - thank you. Sentience, the capacity to experience suffering and flourishing, is the basis we should use when granting moral consideration. All suffering should matter to us. Hence Sentientism: "evidence, reason and compassion for all sentient beings."
    Yes, this does mean that we shouldn't harm & kill sentient beings for human pleasure (animal farming & fishing).

      If anmails Dont feel pain I can do whatever The fuck I want to a puppy as long as it doesnt kill Subject it physical Sexaul psycholgolic trauma and horros Without killing it throwing it out to the street to starve Would have no effect on the puppy
      And I would have done nothing Wrong

    Even insects with tiny brains can show extraordinary abilities . The bee's waggledance for example . I think we should assume that other animals suffer , until proven otherwise . Not the other way round . We believe that other people suffer , even if we don't feel it ourselves . PS . Looks like your being interviewed in a 1970 s police station
