It's unfortunate but the anime left out a key thing that happened when tanjiro's eyes started to bleed. The author in the manga goes into talking about people having 2 sets of limitations. A stamina limit (how much you can endure before you tire yourself out) and a life limit (another limit that when you either use it up or pass it you'll legit die) and tanjiro went past his stamina limit and if his sister hadn't said anything to him telling him to breathe he would have surpassed his life limit and literally have died on the spot. He was most likely literal seconds away from death. That powerup came with serious risks since it basically gave him tunnel vision so he didn't breathe, feel any pain or know that he was about to die because of it. Basically a double edged sword
Tanjiro this episode was a whole demon. I wasn't sure if the anime would include the blood in Tanjiro's eyes and censor a lot but damn they impressed me the facial expressions were on point 🔥

I was wondering why his eyes were bloodshot too, but my older brother was explaining to me that when you cut oxygen off to the head long enough that can happen to your eyes hence tanjiro not breathing mans was that angry, that would also explain why his father was so frail after his demon slayer days. It’s kinda dope because, their so angry demons take life so lightly so sun breathers take the demons lives mercilessly the way they do to humans and it SCARES them.

Props to the VAs that starred this episode bro. They're all spectacular. Tanjiro's VA that really portrayed the screams and the catching of breath and choking of Tanjiro after not breathing. Daki's VA that made that confused-hurt scream when Nezuko kicked her down and Nezuko's VA that can portray emotion even without using words but through growls. This series really gathered the best voice actors in Japan and now, they finally added another one which is the Swordsman in Muzan's memories Yoriichi VA that also voices Kakashi in Naruto.

That’s actually why I’m really starting to dig DS more than a lot of other anime’s because his training and growth is realistic. He trains for months and months and years, and he still has years to go. His progress is slow. I think that’s why anytime he has a badass moment like this, it’s way more rewarding because it’s unexpected because it hardly ever happens.
Say what you will about Tanjiro fighting a foe above his weight class, the fact that he pressured her to the point of being a hairsbreadth away from decapitating her was impressive
I love how despite simple the story is, Demon Slayer does the story telling so well. Like the snide comments that people do about little details actually gets mentioned in the anime and that happened to me when I was like "where are all the people in the street? I guess that's just anime" then out of nowhere Daki killed an entire block of people to answer my question. It breaks subtle tropes without trying and I love it.

what i really liked in yaboyroshi channel is that they are very good at handling the fair use in youtube.,, capturing the hype moments, the opacity of video is not so blurred and the audio of video is still intact unlike others with zero vision of the anime and zero audio which takes away a lot when watching a reaction vid.

Tanjirou's Rage was kind of hinted at in season 1 when the Spider Mother killed some Demon Slayers. Tanjirou was so angry he scared even Inosuke. Finally Nezuko's full demon form or as I like to call it Boing Boing mode!...I'll see myself out.
I mean even further back when he fought them demon triplets and was questioning the last one and sliced his mouth & tongue open while he was talking about how only young girls are good to eat. I love how despite simple the story is, Demon Slayer does the story telling so well. Like the snide comments that people do about little details actually gets mentioned in the anime and that happened to me when I was like "where are all the people in the street? I guess that's just anime" then out of nowhere Daki killed an entire block of people to answer my question. It breaks subtle tropes without trying and I love it.
I still have goosebumps from the red Blooded Tanjiro Calmly analysing enemy's attacks and the voice actor stepped up his game!

Just gonna put this out there, I took this comment from another reaction video, shoutout to that guy he explains what happened with Tanjiro and shit.
So while Tanjiro was struggling to breathe. In that scene in the manga the author talks saying that humans have 2 limits. A stamina and life limit. Tanjiro was about to go over his life limit. If his sister Hanako, hadn't told him to breathe he would have died.
Also Tanjiros bloody eyes came from immense anger because Daki killed the people so his veins bursted. It was explained that this anger would give a temporary power boost but it had the negative effect of causing tunnel vision so he forgot his pain, blinking and even breathing
Also there was a cool line saying "If Humans could harness the power of hatred and anger...then demons would have disappeared from this world a long time ago"

what i really liked in yaboyroshi channel is that they are very good at handling the fair use in youtube.,, capturing the hype moments, the opacity of video is not so blurred and the audio of video is still intact unlike others with zero vision of the anime and zero audio which takes away a lot when watching a reaction vid.
He still needs the idea of "opening thread" to fully commit to a head cut. But yeah, I'm gathering that when he's using Hinokami Kagura, the energy from that is just like the sun so he doesn't need sunlight anymore.
