Also, just looked up the greek translation for the seven mountains, that word translated mountain, can also mean hill, it means to rise above the plain.
What is more important is understanding the Hebrew idioms that John would have been familiar with. In Hebrew thought, a mountain can be a mountain, but it can also refer to a political power, a kingdom or empire. If they are symbolic, then you are looking for seven kingdoms that precede the Antichrist Kingdom. I walk with god. And when I pass through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, because through Christ no weapon against me shall prosper. Azrael is going to come. We should not just be reading the Bible we should be actively walking with god and living by what we have been taught in the book. Jesus showed us how. We are but perpetual teenagers constantly rebelling against our fathers wishes. But he loves us enough to let us mess up for Ourselves. We all should end up coming back to our parents at some point and admit they were right about all of what we thought was wrong. Its time to go back and talk to dad and apologize for being turds for so long. He loves us enough that he gave us himself in the form of a brother that died for us. As far as my mindset we are all siblings under god. But that also means we have to hold each other to the standards that have been set for us by our Father in Heaven. I only hope that the monster I know I am can find peace in the days to come. I came to god because I know I need him. Without god I’d be nothing more than a raging beast of gnashing teeth. I know I am not evil and by all rights I have the scars from standing up to people who were preying on another to show that I do love people. But my rage is toward the world. The way we treat each other and how far we have fallen. The evil people in this world who would do all manner of ungodly things to people just because they could and it was fun for them. I pray every day because I know what I am at my core and I only hope I have a place in heaven. I repent all the time and am harder on myself than anyone could ever be on me. And yet I still feel loved by god. I just try and go one day at a time anymore. I find myself more and more attached to god and I have always felt strongly about god. I feel the end is coming and I’m making sure that right now I’ve made my peace and I spend as much time with my family as I can. When it is time I pray that this heathen is granted access to heaven. I do everything I can everyday hoping that i have not forgotten something or overlooked something I shouldn’t have.

I used to be catholic from 8-17, then baptised as christian at 18. Agnostic(believe in a creator, just not the judeo christian god) by 19 after witnessing so much death when i was stationed overseas. I had a dream a few months ago at 30 years old. I was on a hill, with houses, it was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the lake below with calm waters. Some type of portal opened in the center of the lake, the winds became so powerful, sucking people in. I ran around to the back of the house and laid down against the house and the dirt so i wouldnt get sucked away by the instense wind. For some reason i prayed to jesus to save me. This is wierd because i stopped believing 21 years ago. And even after the dream i don't. I follow everything political closely. Does someone want to make sense of my dream without trying to tell me to go back to Jesus? I know war is coming... a war behond wars... but its not time yet.

Read Matthew chapter 24 for answers. Also when you read chapter 18 of revelation as this fellow has stated, we have to keep in mind that a lot of the things mentioned in verses 12-13 aren't found in America abundantly because those items are found in other nations. The middle east and the Mediterranean area are prime area's for these items. Jerusalem and Rome slayed Jesus and most of the prophets. Jerusalem was slaying prophet's in the old testament long before Rome. We the American people can't be at blame for what some of our governments over year's have done. The Bible says those who are called and chosen to be taken up will not be destroyed with the wicked, you can't just read parts of the Bible for answers, you must read it all and study and meditate and pray for an understanding of the parables and metaphors from the one and only, Jesus our lord and savior, our most high priest and teacher.

I don't think so. Revelation is pretty complicated, and interpreting it is challenging. So if you are not even going to pay attention to what the easy part of the text says, how are you going to understand the complicated parts? The text says it's a city. All we have to do is figure out which one.

Also, just looked up the greek translation for the seven mountains, that word translated mountain, can also mean hill, it means to rise above the plain.
What is more important is understanding the Hebrew idioms that John would have been familiar with. In Hebrew thought, a mountain can be a mountain, but it can also refer to a political power, a kingdom or empire. If they are symbolic, then you are looking for seven kingdoms that precede the Antichrist Kingdom. This is confirmed by the beast with seven heads which are the kings or kingdoms that the Antichrist's kingdom is built on. Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Medo-Persia are four of those kingdoms.

I only hope that the monster I know I am can find peace in the days to come. I came to god because I know I need him. Without god I’d be nothing more than a raging beast of gnashing teeth. I know I am not evil and by all rights I have the scars from standing up to people who were preying on another to show that I do love people. But my rage is toward the world. The way we treat each other and how far we have fallen. The evil people in this world who would do all manner of ungodly things to people just because they could and it was fun for them. I pray every day because I know what I am at my core and I only hope I have a place in heaven. I repent all the time and am harder on myself than anyone could ever be on me. And yet I still feel loved by god. I just try and go one day at a time anymore. I find myself more and more attached to god and I have always felt strongly about god. I feel the end is coming and I’m making sure that right now I’ve made my peace and I spend as much time with my family as I can. When it is time I pray that this heathen is granted access to heaven. I do everything I can everyday hoping that i have not forgotten something or overlooked something I shouldn’t have.

I used to be catholic from 8-17, then baptised as christian at 18. Agnostic(believe in a creator, just not the judeo christian god) by 19 after witnessing so much death when i was stationed overseas.
I had a dream a few months ago at 30 years old. I was on a hill, with houses, it was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the lake below with calm waters. Some type of portal opened in the center of the lake, the winds became so powerful, sucking people in. I ran around to the back of the house and laid down against the house and the dirt so i wouldnt get sucked away by the instense wind. For some reason i prayed to jesus to save me. This is wierd because i stopped believing 21 years ago. And even after the dream i don't. I follow everything political closely. Does someone want to make sense of my dream without trying to tell me to go back to Jesus? I know war is coming... a war behond wars... but its not time yet.

Read Matthew chapter 24 for answers. Also when you read chapter 18 of revelation as this fellow has stated, we have to keep in mind that a lot of the things mentioned in verses 12-13 aren't found in America abundantly because those items are found in other nations.
