    I am assuming that these engines are getting adequate cooling?

      Absolutely, the vollenteers at the anson museum are either trained engineers who used to erect these engines or have been around these engines for years they are very well looked after.

    Do you guys or are any of those engines still used for pumping water over there across the pond yet??? I love the sound of them running at the age they are at,🇺🇸👍👍👍👍

      Not sure if any are used in great Britain but they certainly are in places like India

      Hello Gary there's one in Holland and it's used for pumping it's the same size as this one I think something else which might also be of interest is a u boat engine from ww1 which drives electrical pumps from its rotary dynamo both nice pieces of equipment still working regards

      The museum is there to celebrate our heritage industries. The area is surrounded by old mine workings. It has a remarkable enduring history of how we began to use energy more efficiently. It's a wonderful place.
