Hey Joe, I haven't watched your videos in sometime (Like 7-ish+ years). I recently applied to become a CO, And for obvious reasons your channel came to mind. I am glad to see you still shining light and being a positive influence.
As a fellow P-Towner who’s been in the pink dungeon a time or two, I love to hear these stories of redemption. We can change and be great citizens, much love from Port Norfolk.
Great interview. All the best of luck for him.I like the way he stopped his son coming to see him as it was distressing for both of them and the way visitors are treated. He comes out and acts as a good role model for his 14 year old
So nice to be able to see someone not repeat his mistakes and really learn from them he is an example that there is change and it can be done hopefully with your life experience and message it can help people change make the right choices in life. thankyou for your story.. God Bless!!
This is a great video. I relate to this young man alot. Proud of you Cory. You really did the impossible. Keep up the good work and would like to know your socials so I can keep up with your story
Props to this man for changing his life around. Big Respect. Depending on where you were born , raised & environment around you can make all the difference in the world. Appreciate the content gentlemen. All the best in 2025 !!
This guy has a good attitude and personality I would’ve never believed he was in a gang glad he’s doing good now he could’ve really been something u can tell by his personality if he hadn’t got involved as a kid
Respect the hell out of him for being in the position he was in and getting through it all for his son to be there for him as a father. What he said at the end about being able to be in society and understanding that just cause someone looks at you a certain way or says something doesn’t mean you have to do something is so important. Pride is the devil and we allow ourselves to feel disrespected and overreact to that disrespect so easily these days and that’s how a lot of people end up in bad situations. I tell myself all the time exactly what he said when dealing with people like that. “They don’t know no better.” At the end of the day as long as someone isn’t trying to do something to you or take something from you, you can just go on and live your life. We don’t have anything to prove to anybody and family, especially children, are more important than anything so shout out to Corey for going through hell and coming out the other side as what seems to be an incredible man and a wonderful father. All my respect, and great video Joe.
I'd really like to hear your take on this. The alleged reason for this is not enough fire fighters in the service due to many of them being fired for not taking Covid 19 vacines and DEI hiring, not getting enough people able to do the very tough job
What a great video, i find this man fascinating like how can he be so nice seeming and also so tough seeming lol like idk whether to be his friend or be scared of him😂
I love this young Man! He takes full responsibility for his actions and decisions! It is very clear, he wants it to be known that he had a loving Mother, but it was his decision to go out and get involved with the gang life and do the wrong doings he did. Now when he says “I had a loving Mother, I made my decisions on my own” I think he is really wanting to say, “I had a loving Mother that taught me right from wrong, provided a loving home.” Maybe even she took me to church. I think he is really nervous, which indicates he is telling the truth from his heart! So God Bless this Man! AND Joe! I think this is the starting point where he takes his Channel back to the top and this Genera of prison youtube channels! JOE 2025 is your year MY Dude!
Yeah my homie was blood in NC and told his set got W'd i didn't know blood politics. But basically his set got shut down and he had to join a set that was on good standing. The east coast blood politics way different than crips or folks.
According to AI, Many people successfully overcome behavioral challenges with appropriate interventions like therapy, support groups, and skill-building techniques. Nothing is forever. Change is the only constant.
There just no more powerful words than “You can always change” unfortunately the biggest problem is convincing young Women and Men that they can, their friends can, or anyone can!! All it takes to start is saying to yourself and believe those words. And the first thing most people say in that position is, I need to get out of this town I’m in” ….. “But it’s just too hard”. And that is BS!! The bus leaves EVERY day!! Just get on the bus!
Went to prison at 18yrs old did a 10 piece then did 7 years probation and still only 33 yrs old ? Some and my right here with these numbers, let me finish this video so I can hopefully learn how he turned time back to the future in case I get in trouble
In 2025 we still make "don't drop the soap" jokes, and we still have horrible descriptions of the environment of especially men's prisons. When you sentence me to jail, you sentence me to do time, not sentenced to a violent environment where I'm basically living by the rules of the jungle and at any moment I can be seriously named or killed. But the prison system is betting on the fact that the civilians will turn their heads because "they're monsters and killers and pedos anyway." This way, there's no pressure on them from people to change these conditions standards, etc. This is sick. You just don't want to spend the money to create a better system. You have already sentenced someone to lose their freedom in a already short life we have on this planet.
